Little Mix are more marketable and, imo, 'Wings' is a billion times better than anything Leon Jackson was ever going to release as a single. I reckon Little Mix have a very good chance of getting #1 next week and personally I hope they do. I also applaude SyCo for letting them release 'Wings' tomorrow, rather than the usual wait until the first live show in the X Factor finals (usually late September iirc?).

I agree they are more marketable, but surely they could have released a track with more oomph, like Free Your Mind, En Vogue style  also you have to weight out that the track has been pushed around the schedule to get a weak spot, it just seems they are desperate for a #1. Its not the end of the world to peak at #2. Anyhow I may be proven wrong.

Looking around now, Guetta & Sia (She Wolf) has been released nearly everywhere! I don't think Guetta seems the type to hold back a release so I wouldn't be surprised if we get it tonight! Was Where Them Girls At? held back?

It was On Air/On Sale. ^_^

Hopefully 'She Wolf (Falling To Pieces)' will be too then! :D

It will be very interesting to see whether She Wolf (Falling To Pieces) manages to do well from the off, David Guetta does seemt to be enough of a big name to sell on not much promo or anything (for example the promo singles off Nothing But The Beat did well) bizzarely so I think it should go top 10 as it's had a bit of airplay.

Where Them Girls At was released earlier than intended, and it was a mid-week release (similar situation to Born This Way). It was becuase somebody found an acapella of Where Them Girls At, and made their own backing track to it, and released it on the Internet pretending it was the real version. So they rush-released the real version. I remember David Guetta having a hilarious melt-down on the radio about it.

Little Bad Girl was also on UK iTunes straight away, but When Love Takes Over and Sexy Chick were held back.

I'd imagine Guetta is still enough of a name to get him to Top 10, although I haven't personally heard the track. After the success of 'Titanium', if people see a Guetta/Sia collab available, they'll probably download it out of interest.

DELIGHTED that Carly Rae Jepsen & Owl City are heading for another number one :cheer:

Tbh Griff you're sig makes you look more of a twat, such an attenion seeker.

They've just briefly used 'Little Talks' on BBC Final Score! I know that it has fans here :D

As opposed to Robot's? :P

I wouldn't be surprised to see 'Last Night' by Lucy Spraggan climb up iTunes tonight! She's being heavily hyped on the X Factor and she apparently performed 'Last Night' from her album at her audition and being shown tonight apparently!

Here's the video for the song if anyone is interested, she's a bit Lily Allen/Kate Nash I guess!

I'm shocked that people think Little Mix will be anything but #1, the video has almost 6 million views on Youtube and there's a huge amount of buzz around them.
I have to say I only really listened to Wings properly today and was a bit disappointed. Their voices didn't seem anywhere near as strong as any of their XF performances. Then again, they were by far the best of a very poor bunch last year. Anyways I hope it goes to no.1 because I still have my really bizarre crush on Jessy.
They have an performance tonight on Red or Black, which despite low ratings made massive impact on Cover Drive's Explode. The girls were No.1 on Pre-orders (Until One Direction's forthcoming single was annouced). I'm certain it will get No.1, and if it doesn't, it will be a shock to the industry.
They wont get #1, Alanis Morissette will :kink:

Really...

I think Wings will go to #1, beating Good Time, but Good Time will easily outsell it in the wrong run. I love Wings but I do think they might have been better with something more sophisicated like Black Heart, given that they had so many comparisons to 90s girlbands like En Vogue and Destiny's Child on X-Factor. Although perhaps it's a good thing that Wings show they can be different things too.
Really...

This has already been mentioned but YES, it was outside the top 200 pre-performance and now it's top 40.

So what? how much does a song around the top 40 sell? around 8,000 copies?

The point is that despite low viewing figures, it did have impact.

I know, but if performing on that show only gives you that exposure when the song has no airplay... I doubt there is much people watching that show who hasn't heard Wings yet.

Little Mix are going to be #1, but I doubt that performance is going to help much.
