It went top 40 in some places (New Zealand and Finland I remember), could easily be a novelty hit if it spreads to radio and TV. It reminds me a lot of Party Rock Anthem (but obviously not ear splittingly awful). Really hope it can, there is an alternate version with HyunA (of my BJSC entry Bubble Pop fame *watches as everyone says 'who?') too but that was a free download in Korea. If it breaks through though, it could pave the way for 2NE1 to massive as I know they will!

Technically EVERYTHING is a free download in Korea. Unlimited legal music is included with all internet packages there. Glad to see this top 200, I think that it's a step in the right direction for K-pop's international recognition, but at the same time it could lead it being written off as novelty :(

Yeah I see what you mean, I'm sure that 2NE1 can do it with their English material though and perhaps that will lead to a minor Korean hit or two for them (like just inside the top 200 even, that would be an achievement)!
