Pink  #4

Amealia  #5

And about 1D, that's a brilliant way to release a song. It's effectively OA/OS but gives the song a few days to build up sales and hype ensuring a good peak and longevity no doubt.

P!nk did iTunes last night though.

Thursday night I think, Alan Carr last night :D

Not as surprising as Mika still being "relevant" enough for a TV slot!

Could Amelia still do a "Once" and hit #1 on the singles chart by tomorrow though?

I have a feeling it'll be close between Amelia and The Script - I really can't call it at the moment. There could be something like 300-400 downloads seperating the top 2.

I'm not sure, it's closer now and Amelia has fallen further though so I'd be inclined to say that The Script will probably beat her by a small margin unfortunately.

I can't see it being that small a margin at all, The Script are much further ahead than they were on Thursday when they closed the gap from 6k to 2k (plus sales are higher at the weekend anyway). I could see them being a good 10k clear of her.

I'd much rather The Script didn't get a #1 to their name, but somehow I don't see it. :(

It'll be interesting to see if No Doubt make much of an impact with 'Settle Down'. I'm thinking it'll debut somewhere in the #21-#30 region.

Definitely the most interesting release for this week imo, I really like it and hope it goes top 20; but feasibly it could go anywhere from about #15 to only just inside the top 40!

I think it'll be very lucky to go top 40, I wouldn't be surprised to see it miss the top 75 either. Such a shame, I love it and it is ridiculously catchy. :(

There's definitely online hype about them though and the song has been shown on the music channels quite a bit.

Settle Down is my favourite track right now! I so want it to be a success but it seems like it could do a Nelly Furtado with Big Hoops (Bigger the Better). :(

At this stage, I'd be pleased with even that.

I feel that Settle Down could have done relatively well if it was released immediately or at least a few weeks ago. It's been ages since premiering now and I can't help but feel the hype has died somewhat.

I'd love to be proven wrong though and have No Doubt back in the higher ends of the chart

I really don't know how well No Doubt will do, it just feels so old now, and pretty much gone of it, myself.
