It won't be a cover, it's registered on ASCAP, they co-wrote the song with TMS and Iain James.

They wont do a cover surely. Especially after they are trying to be taken seriously as a group who write their own material or are involved in the writing process.

Amazon have released the tracklisting.

1. Wings

2. DNA

3. Change Your Life

4. Always Be Together

5. Stereo Soldier

6. Pretend It's OK

7. Turn Your Face

8. We Are Who We Are

9. How Ya Doin'? (feat. Slick Rick)

10. Red Planet (feat. T-Boz)

11. Going Nowhere

12. Madhouse

Anyone know who either Slick Rick or T-Boz are?

Twelve tracks is decent. 'We Are Who We Are' though..it's going to be another one of those songs. (actually so do a few of them, 'Pretend It's OK' eh..)

Slick Rick seems a bit of a random feature?! Ha.

He's who Nicki Minaj is singing about in 'Super Bass' when she says 'slicker than the guy with the thing on his eye' hahaha.

pretty underwhelming titles to be honest.

I'm surprised they've done so many songs with TMS, since they've generally only worked with artists like Wretch 32, Dappy, Tinchy Stryder, Devlin, Professor Green, Dot Rotten, etc. Little Mix are looking kind of out of place on their discography.

The only recent thing that TMS have done that fits the description of electro ballad is probably Overload by Dot Rotten (I can imagine Little Mix singing on this instrumental):

Seeing as that instrumental isn't actually by TMS (and if you haven't heard the original, "Children" by Robert Miles, I suggest you do NOW).

I have to agree that those song titles are underwhelming, and considering how much hope I had for a Little Mix album once they'd won, I think from the looks of it, it's catering to far too specific an audience who aren't even likely to purchase (being the young to teen girls). I just hope the title track's decent and then any more songs on the album being good would be a bonus.

Stereo Soldier is another song produced by TMS and Iain James.

I actually quite like the titles. Stereo Soldier, Red Planet, Madhouse all sound like cool songs to me.

The Sun describes 'DNA' (the song) like so:

"The track, which features a dramatic choral breakdown to make GARETH MALONE proud, sounds a lot like JESSIE J’s Do It Like A Dude.

They’ve even developed a Jessie-style stutter-singing.

It also reminds you of Nineties girlgroups like EN VOGUE - except with the added dubstep that dominates the charts these days."

And so it's basically a dedication to En Vogue and Jessie and a "take that and get outta here" message to Gareth.

OF COURSE I've heard Children. Have you ever heard Baby One More Time?

The instrumental of Overload is different. You know dubstep didn't exist in the 90's (well, it did, but hardly anybody knew what it was)? :kink:

Single cover for 'DNA'. I'm gonna put it out there that I'm developing a crush on Jade. She's a cutie ^_^

I must admit that 'Wings' has grown on me more and more and I like it now. Can't wait to hear what the rest of the album will sound like!

Perrie looks stunning, not ashamed to admit she's a crush of mine. I seem to have a thing for blondes.

^ Is Perrie a crush that would be shameful to admit in any case?

I actually wish the album cover was the single cover, and vice versa.

You have a good point there.

I sort of agree with you really. I think that this cover puts the album cover to shame - they all look good here. Poor Jade got a really bad photo for the album cover. :(

I'm looking forward to hearing it tomorrow. What time is it debuted on radio?

I don't think there's a set time, I read it's being sent to radio at 8am so I'd assume one station or more will just be like 'we'll be playing the new Little Mix song soon!' and play it ASAP.
