Overall, its a strong album and some of the songs really are moments especially 'Your Body', 'Blank Page' and 'Let There Be Love', however I am really missing what Christina does best here - the big ballads. 'Blank Page' is the only one that actually offers a big ballad moment, and actually in that sense I actually preferred 'Bionic' as it had 'You Lost Me', 'I Am' and 'Lift Me Up' doing the job rather nicely, although obviously the lows on that were much lower than this. I would give it a 7.5 out of ten, but why is another 'Hurt' too much to ask for?

Just found a link and downloading now - Was going to wait until it was released but I need to hear this now especially as people are saying it's a good album
I'm feeling Red Hot Kinda Love but apart from that the album is boring as hell, much preferred Bionic.
Blank Page is the best thing on this album

Ugh. How do I stop replacing words of her songs with 'fat', 'mcdonalds', 'fart', etc. ('there's a thousand feces on me!')? :( I feel SO immature but I genuinely can't help it.

XTINA LOONZ CAN RELAX OKAY JARK.

Such a mixed bag, which I'm not used to with a Christina record. I usually love her records, even Bionic, but with this it's all a bit meh. It feels so generic, rushed and just :/ I dunno, hopefully it will grow, but I'm deffos underwhelmed atm.

I think let ther be love is the next single, I love that song so much almost as much as Blank Page

Having given this a few listens...

Quite a strong album, better than I expected to be honest! Nothing better than Your Body but Just A Fool, Blank Page, Let There Be Love and Red Hot Kinda Love are especially brilliant. In terms of her albums for me - Stripped > Bionic > Back To Basics > Lotus >>>>>>>>>> Christina Aguilera

(all very consistent bar CA though, not much in it and I love the first three, Lotus could grow to overtake BTB to be honest)

Lotus is more consistent than Back to Basics (which was clogged up with some truly self indulgent crap on disc one) but the highlights are fewer and the production is nowhere near as brilliant, in fact it really lets Lotus down in places. I'd rank it above Bionic (obv) and I do consider it one of the best pop albums of the year, but it's not a patch on Stripped or Basics.

I still have a huge soft spot for the debut, although nothing beats Stripped. Lotus is a pretty good effort though although there are only three essential tracks on it for me - Your Body, Blank Page and Just A Fool. Has anybody heard Xtina's new Pitbull collaboration, Feel This Moment? It's essentially a club banger version of A-Ha's Take On Me with a decent Christina chorus and typically generic rap verses from Mr Worldwide.
It pains me to see how under-rated 'Back To Basics' is, for me its by far her best album, not a single track I skip on there.

I always think it's so overrated personally, no-one ever shuts up about "Ain't No Other Man".

B2B is my favourite Christina album by a mile! I find Stripped to be really overrated.

Reckon it might be time for an Xtina singles rate (collabs included). Bitch has had way more classics than she gets credit for.

Or maybe an ULTIMATE LEGEND X R8 including all album tracks...
