681. You're The One - Charlie XCX

Oh yeh, get that #185 hit Charli !

I do sure hope she's got some promo lined up this week, maybe midweek National Lottery, The Wright Stuff or even The Alan Titchmarsh show. Anything to push it's sales sky high into quite literally 'a few hundred'.

The time now is 2:15pm and still no sign of Example at No.1, which means if he does get there, it will be one of the slowest climbs so far this year. I know Amelia was slightly earlier than this.

The tension in this argument was just TOO MUCH, after some investigation Amelia went to No 1 around 12.08am on Monday morning.

I feel slightly soiled at having to research this- shower time! :arrr:

Example stalling a bit at #11 argh. Still think he's probably heading for #1 but if he isn't top 5 by tonight then maybe it'll just be The Script again (or Gerry And The Pacemakers if they hold up).
The fact that Jessica Wright is in the iTunes top 40 with that absolute embarrassment of a song is just absolutely absurd. The general public's taste in music seriously is hitting an all-time low.
The Script are back at #1 combined using Kworb. As I predicted yesterday there has been a rather fast drop off for Gerry and both Dappy/Example are struggling to challenge. Hopefully two weeks for The Script at #1 then if they make it today!
I love Dance All Night  It is very generic but no moreso than say Young by Tulisa, and she's from TOWIE so we should hardly expect an 8 minute experimental metal track :P

 01. The Script ft will.i.am // Hall of Fame

 02. Gerry and the Pacemakers // You'll Never Walk Alone

 09. Example // Say Nothing

 11. Owl City ft Carly Rae Jepson // Good Times

 16. Dappy // Good Intentions

 30. Jessica Wright // Dance All Night

 71. Pitbull ft Shakira // Get it Started

It is very catchy and like you said no more generic than most. Few dodgy lyrics but still reasonably good. :P

9. Say Nothing (Radio Edit) - Example

16. Good Intentions - Dappy

30. Dance All Night - Jessica Wright

71. Get It Started (feat. Shakira) - Pitbull

It looks like Dappy's 3rd single is going to chart better than Tulisa's 2nd single.

Expect 'Clown' by Emeli Sande to possibly make an appearance in the top 100 after Carolynne Poole performs it on X Factor tonight! Hopefully they will show the full audition!

Also, I Cry took over Good Time just before Example got top 10! :( Hope Good Time can make a quick recovery back in there!

Ooh, Good Time has just gone back up to 10!! :cheer:

It's irrelevant since both singles are pre-album singles. It would be significant if 'Good Intentions' was a post-album single. Plus if 'Live It Up' sells more than 'Rockstar' dispute peaking much lower - surely it's less of a flop.

I very much doubt Live it Up will sell more than Rockstar in the long run though

Are you sure considering 'Rockstar' had literally like 5 weeks in the top 100! Tulisa could easily beat that with a slightly longer running hit. It's chart run was awful and in a very low sales period.
