I know you're going a bit ironic here with all the "indie" countries going so high but oh, I wish! I entered 'Opium' just because I thought it's something really different to the 99% of BJSC entries. And I love how dramatically ceremonial it is.

^^ And I actually want to do well with a POP song one day but every time (well, both two times) when I enter a pop song I underperform with Arty going dead last and A*M*E going 14th instead of generally predicted 3rd-5th. I'm scared sending pop since then lol.

For me the best are by FAR Woodkid and Orbital. :P Then A*M*E, Dead Can Dance and Ingrid Michaelson go in the second league, and Arty was by far my least inspired one, I was really busy at the time, actually wanted to send 'Wut' instead but I was scared to offend Hitstastic, as he had already shortened the song when I discovered Le1f. :lol:

Oh Pavel, don't go at 'City Lights' :( The song is uber catchy and she was fantastic in the video, so direct! Although at the time 'Find a Boy' wasn't released

Oh Arrs!!! :lol: You should've just said. I did the edited version for you because you asked so nicely. I also thought it was a bit average but didn't want to scare you with my own honesty. Ok, I did vote for it in the semi finals (something like 3 points but still :P ) but once it got to the final, Arty was nowhere near contention for points - even if it was classed as a "Hitstastic Remix".

 

Woodkid is by far your best entry so far. 'Run Boy Run' is an incredible piece of music imo. :D

Well, I still really like 'Must Be The Love' but 'Wut' sounded so much more fresh - and I didn't really have much time to discover anything else. :P

 

Sometimes I think the result is kind of affected by how much you are passionate about the song. I have three entries that I passionately wanted to do well, they are Orbital, Woodkid and Dead Can Dance. And they all have massively outperformed their predictions. And then I had Arty, the contest when I was hanging out with the guy in tehh real lyyfe - and it got to #30. :lol:

 

Maybe for most of you it's different but for me that clearly works.
