Hall of Fame was used on X Factor last night which explains why it has climbed slightly. Hope PSY can keep the #1.

It's similar to what's successful in the charts today tbh, but a lot better.

 

Infact, a lot of the chart music now is similar to what I used to hear when I was in infant school. Let Me Love You, for example, reminds me of Blue by Eiffel 65 (another song which I used to hear every day), because they both have the piano arpeggios, and have similar instrumental breakdowns, and are a similar tempo, but Let Me Love You sounds just so false in comparison, and it's nowhere near as euphoric. That's just my opinion though.

 

Apart from the fact that you and HOK are making me feel ANCIENT, I totally agree. Most of the current chart music, especially by supposedly "urban" artists is based on, and is a poor copy of, dance hits from the 90s. I LOVED Blue, infact I imoprted E65's second album (and briefly had a fansite about them :blush:)

He supported N-Dubz on their tour in 2011, I remember him being one of the support acts when I saw them in Birmingham. He was actually quite irritating.

Glad to see Amelia being very stable! The Radio 1 late B-list has really helped the song out tbh. Her airplay has been increasing a lot the last week or so due to Radio 1's help, so the song hasn't dropped so quickly! I think they should reduce the single to 59p. I can see it going Silver now, as before I thought it would drop like a rock. :dancing:
