so fast to #1 in the USA and the West Coast hasn't even wake up yet (it's not even 6AM in Los Angeles for example).

Wow @ Rihanna. Was not expecting 1D to be #2 at this point. I actually prefer LWWY to Diamonds, but both will be huge anyway, with Adele potentially taking over by the weekend.

1 Rihanna 1.0000

2 One Direction 0.7000

Which means that if 1D is now selling on a 100K/week level. Rihanna is at 143K

01. Rihanna - Diamonds 100%

02. One Direction - Live While We're Young 70%

03. Psy - Gangnam Style 70%

01. Rihanna - Diamonds 100%

02. One Direction - Live While We're Young 70%

03. Psy - Gangnam Style 70%

OK... How much on EARTH an EP can sell?

I doubt the Ep is going to sell that much for One Direction to be number one come friday, their already down to #04 on the Album Chart, One Direction SHOULD be number one in tomorrow/wednesday chart update! However Rihanna should come out on top come Sunday!

Amazing feat in the USA!

Shame really, I don't mind the new One Direction track - though I'm a Rihanna fan + am routing for 'Diamonds'. Unfortunate for 1D really, the release was perfectly timed - just enough hype to get good sales; should at least hang around inside the top 10.

 29. Kanye West et al 'Clique'

 37. Maroon 5 'Payphone'

 59. Tulisa 'Live It Up'

 64. The Other Tribes 'Skirts'

 83. Walk the Moon 'Anna Sun'

Genuinely shocked to see the latter two so slow. The amount of support R1 has given them made me think they'd have Of Monsters and Men/Foster the People-esque success. Wonder if it's just a case of people not knowing they're out yet.

We have a US iTunes thread in the International Charts forum. I suggest you start spamming that.

I could see her remaining stable as she's performing on Jonathan Ross on Saturday, holding her up well next week!

Hmm, where did you hear this? I can't find a source.

Like I said the other day, 1D cruising to #1 with ease in the USA. Hardly surprising that they're doing better over there now ('One Thing' flopping aside they were already bigger there than here, but I didn't think their popularity was this low in the UK - they're already no longer in green on Kworb and could drop behind PSY soon!)

Rihanna might be outselling 1D on iTunes 3-to-1 by the end of the week at the rate she's pulling away right now, increasingly looking like she's going to get the official #1 :cheer: I heard 'Live While We're Young' this morning, it's not quite as awful as 'What Makes You Beautiful' to be fair but it's well short of 'One Thing' in terms of quality of WMYB remixes. 'Diamonds' is certainly infinitely better.

Toto 'Africa' back at #89  Anyone know why?

One Direction down to #03 :o

Never expected them to start to drift this early :o

Twitter- Niall Horan- 'just dropped to 3 on itunes, lets get it back to the top guys!' 20 mins ago.

He's quick off the mark, wonder if he is reading it off this forum ;)

They could try and blame it on the fact that the song is almost OA/OS which doesn't work in the UK, if it wasn't for the fact that the no 1 song is also OA/OS
I shall summarize my feelings on this morning's events in one lone emoticon: :D GO RIHANNA!

Jonathan Ross confirmed on his show next week was Taylor Swfit and a live performance from Ellie Goulding!
