I expect SHM to have a good shout at the number 1, if Adele loses some steam over the next day or two. I'd really like Leona to come out of the blocks strongly, so that the X Factor performance can maintain that, but I don't see it happening. I'd say she should be lucky to get top 5, which is a bit disappointing. I'd have loved her to come back with a massive number 1, but hey ho.

SHM definitely have a very strong shot at #1 and it'd be fantastic if they could get there even though it's my least favourite of their singles. Downloaded 'Don't You Worry Child' (the Radio Edit) the second it was released.

She'll be on T4 tomorrow morning as well and Alan Carr on the 12th, so that should help the song out. I'm hoping she can go top 5 with "Trouble". Then she'd have the most top 5 singles of any British female solo artist I believe.

Just downloaded Trouble. Really hope it gets Top 5 officially.

Dont expect Leona to do that good until her x factor performance, She's something like number 60 or 70 on radio play, Hopefully after her x factor performance she be top 5! :)

Union J are flopping hard :o I can understand Rylan as he'll get votes but not sales but that's really poor for Union J not even being top 1,000.

They were shit that's why they are flopping. They are a lidl version of One Direction.

 

It will be them and "cry baby" Rylan in the bottom 2.

I have seen quite a lot of comparisons about the release strategies of 'Trouble' and 'My Wicked Heart' which both had limited airplay and promo before the X Factor performance. Of course, 'Trouble' has had a lot more airplay prior to the XF performance that 'My Wicked Heart' had but they do seem to both be/did over-rely(ing) on the XF performance.

 

I've looked back at the thread for Diana's release and at 1am, Leona is sitting at #945 with 'Trouble' while Diana was already sitting at #112.

 

We did see Diana stall just outside the top 40 just before her performance, will Leona be able to achieve better than that despite the much poorer first update? I am a massive fan of Leona so I really hope she can chart than the lifechanging 'My Wicked Heart' did (how did it only reach #13? :(), I think its gonna be very interesting to compare them.
