No, it didn't... you're counting the +1 for X Factor, something BBC doesn't have. Strictly gained 1 million compared to last year, XF is nearly 2 millions down from last year and more than 3 millions from 2008-2010.

Of course I'm counting the +1, why wouldn't that be counted?

 

Therefore X Factor had more viewers at peak and on average.

 

It's irrelevant whether BBC has a +1 or not.

I can see Trouble doing as well as My Wicked Heart. It'll probably surge after the XF performance, stall outside the top 10 and then plummet in a few weeks.

 

I knew Leona wouldn't stand a chance at the top spot but I didn't think she'd be struggling this badly to gain a respectable chart position. How the mighty have fallen...

Leona isn't getting Capital support for this song, so we can't expect her to get #1. Like we were saying about Tinchy Stryder a few days ago, if Leona ever gets a song back in high rotation on Capital (and other radio stations), we'll probably see her back in the top 3 again.

That's exactly what I've been thinking! I think she might be lucky enough to scrape in the top 10 but it could go either way.

Capital didn't support Do You Feel What I Feel? and Proud (coincidentally both of their poorest performing singles).

 

This will probably demonstrate well what I mean, people think JLS are over, and their next single will miss the top 10, but really all it is is that they didn't have much radio support for their past couple of singles. They've got the amount of airplay that they used to have for this new song somehow, so this will be another big hit for them (that sells over 100,000, which their previous two failed to do I think).
