My local Tesco and Asda are both stocking Kylie, so it's only a select few stores that aren't stocking it.

I did think Kylie would have held number 1 for longer, Ben Howard doing very well but as its an ep it would be much cheaper than Calvin and Kylie so i would expect Ben Howard to take over the number 1 slot quiet soon.

The Black Veil Brides album is released on 7 Jan 2013 - the corresponding chart week this year had a #1 album with only a little over 20k and there's no reason to believe it'll be any better next year, could they be a shock low sales #1? Their last album did only get to #54 but I get the feeling they've built up an enormous fanbase since then. Definitely wouldn't be shocked if this new album went at least top 5 anyway.

Sub Focus' EP is the highest of this Sunday's releases :D I doubt he'll actually chart higher than The Wanted or Misha but it's certainly encouraging. Great to see Rudimental's EP already top 100 as well, hope this can give them a second top 5 hit at least. And yay at 'Troublemaker' now being comfortably ahead of 'Something New' despite the pre-order-only content of the latter, Olly for #1 please! 'Right Place Right Time' is a lot higher than 'Ten' as well.

Can't say I've knowingly heard of them, but if they're any good, I hope they go to number one. It's nice to see "unknown" acts/ un-established acts doing well in January/February due to low sales.

You might as well have just said 'Alt-J to receive a big boost tonight', it was hardly going to be any of the others :P

Here's hoping for Alt-J to re-peak this week or next then.

Is Ben Howard still no1?

Ahh well, cant wait to see if its played on the singles chart on sunday!!
Glad to see Jessie Ware's album receiving a small boost. I hope it becomes a consistent seller over the christmas period, so benefits from the higher sales. It's one of my favourite albums of the year and would love it to at least go silver!

Robbie vs JLS again? Should see them two along with Ne-Yo, and perhaps Aerosmith, Andre Rieu, Andrea Bocelli and Military Wives. Quite hard to tell with classical albums, but the 3 last three albums will be rather consistent over Christmas and then have a significant drop in the New Year.
