Kylie, Kelly Clarkson and Rita Ora performed. McFly didn't, but they had a show on tonight.

Great to see Kylie climbing, those extra few sales tonight will hopefully keep the album top 40 tomorrow and then really boost her next week.

Very pleasing start for GD since I didn't see it anywhere on pre-orders, #6 taking away compilations and duplicates. Given ¡Dos! only opened with 24k I'm still expecting this to miss the top 10, not releasing "99 Revolutions" to radio stations was a huge mistake.

Shocked that Bruno Mars isn't Top 10 on play.com or even Top 50 on HMV! I know it's had very good pre-orders, but I would thought it would do better than this. Perhaps it won't sell anywhere near 200k this week after all? :(

Just downloaded the 'James Arthur Collection' for £4.99 - Didt realise they had put all his tracks on an album! It's a shame they are not making it chart eligible would have been interesting to see how it performed!

I think this could underperform a bit sales wise however it is #1 on Amazon MP3 as they are selling it for £4.99

 

in my local HMV there was 100000000s of Bruno albums at the #1 slot, half that amount of Ollys at #2 and ONE Copy - yes ONE copy in the whole store - of 1D

Bizarre move by Whitney's record company to slash the price of her GH weeks after releasing a new heavily TV advertised GH - They should have just repromoted the above one with a price reduction and flooded HMV, Tesco etc with copies and a £5 price point.

 

Fantastic climb for GA - It's was #71 just before the TV show started, Also HMV are selling the Deluxe version online for £10 and the standard album is part of the '2 For £15' offer in stores which could give it decent sales next week.
