Think I'm gonna download the 'Figure 8' EP, it needs all the help it can get. Live version of 'Anything Could Happen' with it as well

The Glee album isn't a pre-order by the way, the only pre-order top 200 right now is blink-182's 'Dogs Eating Dogs' EP at #52.

blink-182's EP is 5 tracks, I think that means it'll go to the singles chart? It's had very strong pre-orders the last couple of weeks, so perhaps they can get their first top 40 'single' since 2005!

I think so - did Ben Howard's recent EP have 5 tracks, or was that four? I think as long as the running time in under 30 minutes or so or has less than about 7 tracks, it goes onto the singles chart.

Price reductions seem to be giving a decent boost to some albums -

 9 - The Lumineers - The Lumineers [£4.99]

 11 - Frank Ocean - Channel ORANGE [£3.99]

 17 - Ellie Goulding - Halcyon [£4.99]

Also pleased to see Lady Antebellum climbing again with their Christmas album which is now at #61

Just the price reduction with some help from airplay for Figure 8 I guess.

Expect a resurgence of Spice Girls' Greatest Hits on Christmas Eve - an ITV1 programme airs that night, looking over their career and their recent musical.

I am praying that the SG get a massive surge in sales after the documentary - Would love to see the album return to the Top 10 and im sure that it will be featuring in the HMV sale too which should give it a boost.

The Blink-182 EP was released yesterday. Maroon 5's Overexposed is currently £4.99, so I guess it's been reduced. Same goes to P!nk's Greatest Hits, which is £3.99. Not sure about The Beatles though.

Girls Aloud have fallen out of the Top 100 already! :o Well, #101, but it was Top 40 yesterday.

Not sure about Top 10, but maybe Top 20.

T.I. coming for highest new entry this week then? Unless blink-182 are charting on the albums chart. Annoying that they haven't sold enough yet to be top 40 whichever chart they're on, so we won't know until at least Friday which chart it's going to.

Looks like there aren't any new releases of note until Black Veil Brides' potential low-sales high-ish peaker on 7th January. Solange's 'True' is also listed for a 7/1 release although that's already out on iTunes

Top 20 for deffo, top 10 maybe. It is repeated on Boxing day at around 2pm as well (cant exactly remember the time), Emma has recorded an interview with French and Saunders for radio 2 on Xmas day, talking about the musical, spice and general life. Xmas day night BBC 2 have an Xmas TOTP 2 special repeat which is bound to include 2 become 1, plus a repeat on Xmas day night of 'The Xmas #1 story which airs tonight, which is bound to involve the spice girls.

Tesco finally got stock of the Greatest Hits this week too, so it will be stocked in all the main supermarkets and hopefully still cheap (£6.97 Asda, £5.99 Sainsbury's, £7.50 Tesco).

JLS, Rita Ora, Conor Maynard etc, all reduced to £3.99 on iTunes so hopefully a decent boost for them coming!

Rita Ora is up from #230 where it was yesterday! :o The price drop has done wonders, can definitely see this album being one to rocket up the charts in the New Year.

Lot's of albums reduced to £3.99, only added the notable ones that are in the Top 100.

Slade's Greatest Hits is #152 because there has been a load of Slade programmes on BBC4.

^^Amazing climb for Rita - Great to see the £3.99 price tag has had such a great effect, Can't believe JLS have not charted again with 'Evolution' which is down to £3.99 - Its such a great pop album!
Is that skrillex ep - at 3.99 - might purchase it. Cant believe Tom Odell is on sale, when was it released? Cant wait to see it rise the charts in january!!
