So wish that the record company did not hike up the price of the Spice Girls 'Greatest Hits' to £9.99 when the documentary was on as they might have got some extra sales if they had kept it at what it was selling at before and what they have reduced it to again [£5.99]

Abba 'Gold' has also been reduced and is back in the Top 60 so will keep their sales ticking over as they edge ever closer up the all time best selling albums list.

I'm going to start a proper track of the reduced greatest hits, giving their previous positions and moving "up" and "down" etc. icons.

Jake Bugg now #2!

I knew the JR appearance would do wonders for him - He also has 2 songs in the iTunes Top 40 too, Top 3 return for the album next week then!

Expecting Everything Everything and Villagers to do well on iTunes when they are released tonight - Also iv had alot of people ask me at work for the A$AP Rocky album so could be an indication that might do ok too?!

New EP Releases

102. Vato Gonzalez, Lethal Bizzle & Donae'o - Not a Saint [EP]

586. Josh Kumra - Waiting for You [Remix EP]

1121. Fugative - O.T.T. [Remix EP]

New Album Releases

007. Black Veil Brides - Wretched and Divine: The Story of the Wild Ones

107. Chris Tomlin - Burning Lights

210. Dropkick Murphys - Signed and Sealed In Blood

454. Solange - True

640. Broadcast - Berberian Sound Studio

Vato Gonzaelz' Not a Saint EP has 8 tracks on it, but they are all remixes of the same song - will it count towards the single on the Singles Chart or chart on the Album Chart?

None of the new albums appear on the HMV Top 50 Chart, but since Black Veil Brides are so high on iTunes and album downloads have a big impact on the January charts, they could probably enter the Top 40 on the midweeks.

Pre-orders top 200:

1. The Next Day (Deluxe) - David Bowie

56. Les Misérables (Highlights From the Motion Picture Soundtrack) - Various Artists

81. Get Up (Rattle) [feat. Far East Movement] - Bingo Players

125. The Next Day - David Bowie

155. Learn To Love Again - EP - Lawson

Don't get how the standard edition of Bowie's pre-order is so low when the deluxe version has gone all the way to #1. I'm sure there's not normally such a huge gap between the two versions of a pre-order. Both versions are offering 'Where Are We Now?' (that explains why it has 2 entries on the singles feed then, again ridiculously far apart at #1 and #72).

Bingo Players' EP a lot higher than when I last checked, looks like they have a good chance of getting a #1 then. Never thought we'd hear from Bingo Players again after 'Cry (Just A Little)', I wonder if the success of 'I Cry' has influenced support of 'Get Up (Rattle)'? Very likely to provide Far East Movement's highest peaking single also which seems strange.

I'd expect Everything Everything to enter the Top 10 in next week's album chart, and it looks like A$AP Rocky could be able to do that too.

Everything Everything not gonna be a surprise #1 then if they're that low on pre-orders :( Hope they can still get at the very least top 10.

'Black Chandelier' pre-order actually doing rather well, didn't expect it to ever make the top 200! Praying for a surprise hit.

'Get Up (Rattle)' starting to look like a pretty certain #1. Not many that make the top 40 as a pre-order don't get #1.

Oh god, album sales the next couple of weeks are going to be shocking. I would have expected Everything Everything to clear 20k and probably get #1 but now I'm not sure.

This time last year, Bruno Mars was number one with 24.5k and the highest new entry was The Maccabees at #4 with 22.4k. 20k would get you to number 5, which is the sort of area I would expect Everything Everything to chart.

Tame Impala are on Jonathan Ross tonight   Hopefully their album will get a HUGE boost later - One of the beat albums of 2012! Also Paloma Faith is on there too.

Biffy the musical guest on Jonathan Ross's show tonight, so that might end up getting them a bit further up the chart

will be buying it on Monday so I can get my hands on the b-sides :)
