Tour doing wonders for this! :D

111. Cody Simpson - Paradise

I'm guessing this is due him being the support act on Justin's tour? It's not having the same effect for Carly Rae (#404 and #1414 with Kiss).

171. Carrie Underwood - Blown Away

Exposure from Before He Cheats' re-release I'm guessing.

Fantastic to see all of these high up. :D

Any particular reason for the climbs fro Calvin Harris' 18 Months, David Bowie's The Next Day and Olly Murs' Right Place Right Time?

Entries for the pre-orders of Dido's Girl Who Got Away and Stereophonics' Graffiti on the Train are very welcome!

David Bowie streams new album exclusively on iTunes

David Bowie’s latest album The Next Day is currently streaming in its entirety on iTunes as a worldwide exclusive.

The surprise LP is Bowie’s first in 10 years and will be released on March 11 on Iso/RCA Records.

The iTunes Store stream, which can be found here, will remain available until the album’s full release.

Where Are We Now has drawn the plaudits with critics calling it ‘the most compelling comeback in rock history’.

You can read a round-up of The Next Day reviews here.

An iTunes or Apple streaming service is still highly anticipated, although there are various suggestions about the form it would most likely take.

This is the reason behind DB's release of The Next Day.

Duke Dumont's pre-order performance so far is astounding! Looking like a definite Top 3 at this point

I personally think it's a certain #1, its still not out for 4 weeks.

I personally think it's a certain #1, its still not out for 4 weeks.

It could be, if there's no major competition that week (it should be able to beat Imagine Dragons). Kinda reminds me of Feel the Love; a song that comes from virtually nowhere and becomes one of the year's biggest dance SMASHES.

Bastille @ 13 & 29

Stereophonics @ 53 & 75

Laura Mvula @ 66 & 107

Dido @ 86 & 171

Looking very good for Bastille! Wouldn't rule out Stereophonics though, since they're bound to sell loads of physicals (i'm thinking it might shift somewhere near 40k overall)

The Extended Cut of Bastille album is on repeat in the past few hours... this is such an amazing album! OMG!

Bastille my love :)

Bastille no1 & 2 - is that a sure sign its sales will be huge?
Bastille no1 & 2 - is that a sure sign its sales will be huge?

Albums being both #1 and #2 is not that rare, it's more or less a guarantee they'll be #1 but not necessarily that they'll have massive sales (depending on what you'd consider 'massive'). The last album to do this was Biffy Clyro's (note: the only #1 album so far this year that has 2 versions available on iTunes) and that did over 70k, I imagine Bastille will do around the same if not better.

EDIT: Biffy might have been #1 and #3 actually but still, it's not that rare for the standard and deluxe of an album to both be in the top 2 and pretty common for them to both be top 5.

Dido has now zoomed to #3 and the standard is #35!

Id imagine the top 5 will all be over 30k this week at least - Stereophonics, Did, Laura Mvula, Bastille, then the current top 2/3 LM, M&Ss & Emeli Sande!

1. Bastille - Bad Blood (The Extended Cut)

2. Bastille - Bad Blood

3. The 1975 - Music For Cars EP

Happy days theres an EP so it will hopefully make the top 40 this week!!

Update

1. Bastille - Bad Blood (Extended Cut)

2. Bastille - Bad Cut

3. Dido - The Girl Who Waited

4. Stereophonics - Graffiti On The Train

5. Stereophonics - Graffiti On The Train (Deluxe)

6. The 1975 - Music For Cars

I had really hoped Brian McFaddens comeback in the UK might have a bigger impact. So far its No. 67, worried now it could even miss the Top 40 officially on sunday.
Update

1. Bastille - Bad Blood (Extended Cut)

2. Bastille - Bad Cut

3. Dido - The Girl Who Waited

4. Stereophonics - Graffiti On The Train

5. Stereophonics - Graffiti On The Train (Deluxe)

6. The 1975 - Music For Cars

So Bastille - 1.

SP - 2.

Dido - 3.

Whatever order the top 3 are looking at new entries, with Bruno Mars #4 and Emeli falling down to #5, I think that's how the top 5 are going to look by the end of the week.
