October 15, 201212 yr I think we are going to have a shit winner this year. The only times all the groups survived the first 2 weeks are series 1 and series 4, this won't end well.
October 15, 201212 yr Carolynne and Melanie both suffer from being old, and other voters voting for the other younger females. They were good signers, but being a good singer just doesn't cut it on the X Factor. Both were a bit dull, and lifeless. District3 have obviously lost a lot of votes to Union J. Rylan will probably survive a couple of weeks now. My biggest shock is how much support Lucy has drummed up. I have a horrid feeling she will the Cher Lloyd of this year. I forgot to add, I was standing next to her last night! She looks like a giant potato.
October 15, 201212 yr While i liked Melanie i didnt love her and she was getting too shouty, or should i say the shouty thing was too much the same each week, i dont know if there is anyone on the show this year that i love although i know its early stages, i really liked carolyne last week and that is still my favourite performance, i think its almost a cert that Ella will win and i think she would have a chance of doing well.

I've said that about many acts before, and they've never won! :P Although, looking at the rest of the competition, she pretty much has it in the bag at the moment, unless she starts becoming dull and predictable, but with a voice like that, I wouldn't care!
October 15, 201212 yr Right now I think there's only 6 acts that have a chance of winning: Ella, Union J, James, Jahmene, Kye and Jade It's hard to really predict now though. Who would have thought Little Mix would win last year? I expected them to be out in the first few weeks

I am in total agreement with you - 2 brilliant singers gone in 2 weeks - if Ella & Jade go out in the next 2 weeks there will only be rubbish left apart from the half decent MK1. E & J are the only brilliant singers left - even Lucy (though good) is a one trick pony. - Rylan, apart from being a rubbish singer he's a total nutcase & saying he is entertaining - he just makes me want to throw up. :puke2: :puke2: This show is becoming a total joke. No wonder the ratings have plumetted. Rebecca's performance was brilliant and Taylor Swift was amazing - about time we had some good country music back in the UK charts. October 15, 201212 yr I was actually rooting for District3 there, I'm not particularly a fan of either. But I'm absolutely fed up of Melanie screaming and shouting every song! :drama: District 3 sang rubbish in the sing-off - At the beginning you couldn't even tell what the blonde one in the middle was trying to sing. They should definatley have gone - one boyband is enough and Union J are not as bad as these. Just because Carolynne and Melanie aren't 'relevant' (and who's to say they aren't-Carolynne is apparently country which ties in with Taylor Swift's recent success) doesn't mean they deserved to go this early. I'm more interested in seeing good performances every week and the reason I've stopped watching is because it's unlikely to happen. Ella, Jade and Kye on a good day are literally all that's left out of ELEVEN finalists who can perform half decently. And I tell you one thing. I work in a school and literally NONE of the kids are talking about XF at the moment.

October 17, 201212 yr JUST catching up :drama: NICOLE SCHERZINGER IS QUEEN! Loving her so f***ing much during XF! I thought she'd get duller and duller, but for now she's getting better and better! Union J were FANTASTIC! Definitely the shock of the night for me. So good! Ella, a few patchy parts, but she still has the greatest voice this year, bar NONE but as I've said before, if LeAnne Mitchell can't be a success, I don't see how Ella's going to be a success, unfortunately (oh and I supported LeAnne during 'The Voice' too!). Melanie was great again, but I definitely preferred last weeks performance. Jade was good. I liked it, didn't quite love it as much as others did, as I am starting to find her rather nasally and monotonous, but I did like it! Kye was a bit meh. He's a bit too MOR to me and he's just a more likable, but a more watered down (and less good) Matt Cardle. Rylan is very entertaining. He's give far too much schtick. I didn't like the song choices in 'Groove Is In the Heart' or 'Pump Up the Jam' (2 of my least favourite songs, EVER :puke:) but it strangely worked. MK1, I think I actually rather liked that! I didn't like how he was rapping the verses, but the raps he did himself were good, but yeah an enjoyable performance and I still want to punch them both so f***ing hard. GMD3... Hmm... I like them, but they lacked something this week. It was definitely the wrong song choice. They should have done 'More Than This' by OneDirection, yes they'd be compared to them but what's new? They're being compared to them anyway :lol: Lucy was the same as ever, although I liked this performance a bit. She reminds me of a mix between Ellie Goulding and Kate Nash. Jahmene the same old, boring, warbly rubbish. Christopher was as cringey as ever and I find James so, so terrible! I genuinely have trouble to hear what he's singing and can't help thinking that had he not done a song that people considered to be "underrated" or whatever and sang Emeli's 'My Kind Of Love' or something, I don't think he'd be half as raved about. *vomit* -- A better show overall, but the talent is still lacking in comparison to previous years.
