I think the real competition here is Girls Aloud vs. Olly Murs, with Alicia Keys entering in the top 5. I think Girls Aloud will do it, it's great to see them making a comeback even if it turns out to be their last single ever. It deserves to be a #1 so that the girls can leave on a high note, and if they don't well there's always Cheryl's next chapter of her solo career to look forward to.

Olly has had three number ones in this decade so far, so I think he should be generous and let Girls Aloud have their turn :P

Of course there's going to be more anticipation for a Girls Aloud comeback single than a new Olly Murs single on BuzzJack.

Well yes, but I wasn't making a referece to Olly Murs in that particular sentence (though stating the obvious :P )

It's between Olly and Girls Aloud, I'm HOPING the girls can do it though.

I think Alicia Keys' 'Girl On Fire' is going to be HUGE, I dare say it would be a #1 contender without those two. I'm not quite sure if McFly are powerful enough to get top 10 anymore...

Kelly Clarkson will have a similar peak to P!nk's 'Raise Your Glass' with less longevity.

I'm thinking:

Girls Aloud - Something New - #1

Olly Murs feat. Flo Rida - Troublemaker - #2

Alicia Keys - Girl on Fire - Top 5

McFly - Love is Easy - Top 10

Kelly Clarkson - Catch My Breath - Top 20, or may just scrape Top 10

Labrinth feat. Emeli Sande - Beneath Your Beautiful - Top 10 but will peak before 18th Nov

Chris Brown - Don't Judge Me - Top 20 but will peak before 18th Nov (although I haven't actually heard the song yet, is it any good?)

I love it. It's completely different to his 4 other chart hits this year, and it's him going back to his roots.

I don't see Olly being as successful with this era, 'Troublemaker' just doesn't seem as radio friendly and appealing as the previous two albums. On that basis, and the fact there is/will be so much hype around Girls Aloud, I reckon 'Something New' will nab the #1; but let's just wait and see.
GA are bound to have a physical out with it being the CiN single, which may tip the scale in their favour, but boy it's going to be close, and Flo Rida has denied me (and The Saturdays) some great #1's
I think it will be Olly, it has flippin' Florida talking on it, so that will give it a boost with the yoof! Plus he will have an X Factor appearance, Girls Aloud won't do XF as Cheryl has fallen out with Cowell. It will be close, but I think Murs will just clinch it

I voted for Olly. I don't think Girls Aloud's song will be the big number 1 everyone is expecting it to be!

Oh and in order of preference I would say:

Kelly Clarkson - Catch My Breath

Olly Murs feat. Flo Rida - Troublemaker

Girls Aloud - Something New

Alicia Keys - Girl on Fire

Labrinth feat. Emeli Sande - Beneath Your Beautiful

Chris Brown - Don't Judge Me

**NOT HEARD** McFly - Love is Easy

I think the week will look something like...

01 'Troublemaker'

03 'Something New'

04 'Girl On Fire'

07 'Catch My Breath'

12 'Beneath Your Beautiful'

17 'Don't Judge Me'

Girls Aloud should easily get it. It's their big comeback, it's for charity and it's actually good. Olly's new one isn't as good as HSAB or DWMT, but it should easily get Top 3.

But Girls Aloud rap on their song, too...

I think Olly and Girls Aloud are the only 2 serious contenders in this battle and Girls Aloud will most likely get it as its the comeback, its for charity and all that, that said, i would love both Girls Aloud and Olly Murs to make number 1 with these singles so maybe one knocks the other off on the follow up week.
I guess Olly will get this #1 with opening sales around 120k. I'm hoping Girls Aloud will get at least a Top3 as I don't want their comeback to recall any aspect of the Headlines/Spice Girls comeback. Although I don't want to risk on the opening sales for them... I've no clue how popular they are now.

The new Girls Aloud track is so poor, I don't know why people think it will make #1.

 at OP failing to put the most obvious contender, Little Mix, on the list.

Little Mix are out the previous week.

Little Mix are out the previous week.

and they may still be #1 the week in question.

How much did Cheryl sell with Call My Name in its first week? 150,000+

There you are, Girls Aloud will be #1.
