Taylors new album is out :cheer:

If anyone is buying it please tell me if the 'Complete my album' feature is working for you, thanks :D

There was no 'Complete My Album' for me and I have downloaded 2 of the promo singles as well as 'We Are Never Ever' of course!

Also, I've finally been able to download 'Imagine' from Emeli's album re-release! Hopefully people will remember it from the closing montage of the Olympics when it was used and it can get top 40! Absolutely beautiful!

This is what i love about the download era - Music is instantly available to buy after a TV performance etc, - Emeli and Labrinth are now heading for a smash hit, Also loving that the epic 'Save The World' is at #35

Update -

 6 - Labrinth/Emeli

 46 Labrinth/Emeli

Exactly right, it makes the chart so unpredictable - pity they didnt follow ur sentiment properly and release ALL songs immediately or within 2 weeks of being premiered.

Havent been on here since after the chart today but when i went on itunes to download some songs for this week it was a WTF moment - i knew Labrinth was performing but never thought it would have this massive impact - just goes to show that with an amazing song - like Someone like You at the brits - these songs will rise to the top of the chart no matter how long the songs been available!! Love surprises like this - lets hope they dont fade and the song gets some airplay now to keep it there.

Hope Electronic Earth gets labrinth the sales he deserves now - its a very decent album. He's been smart with his release techniques too - releasing this last knowing it would be perfect for this time of year, an XF performance and it would extend the albums life into the big sales part of the year. Although sales dont seem to great this week hence why he's beable to shoot up so fast - jls may only sell 50k after looking at todays slow progress?!

Can't see it dropping tbh - Radio are usually quite responsive to the iTunes charts so i think they will be all over the track due to its epic climb in literally minutes.

True and the singles official impact date isnt until 19/11 so radio 1 probably planned an addition to the playlist this week or next - but may add it to the blist straight away after its quick rise up the chart!

Wow wow wow - thought I was imaging things when I logged on and saw Labrinth/Emeli Sande at #2 on iTunes! Absolutely superb track, thank God it's gotten the attention it deserves; a deserving top 10 hit (and would make an excellent #1). The only shame here is that 'Treatment' missed out on chart success - it remains my favourite track from 'Electronic Earth' - and actually one of my favourite tracks from this year.

I'm sure SyCo will be glowing with joy, an 6-month old track is fending off competition from JLS (of all people).

Ezactly my opinion - Treatment got to no1 on my personal chart in september there, great song - love the whole album. Labrinth is so talented playing the piano there and not just an average rnb star - strange he's on sycho considering he sings, plays instruments and writes his own songs, not like them to invest in that kind of artist!

I think Swedish House Mafia will remain at number one this week tbh!

I think they signed him partly so he can make songs for some of the artists on the label. He's also started his own label within Syco.

It was such a nice surprise to come home and see him at #1 (although I thought it might've happened, since there was like 5 extra pages in the iTunes thread, which is unusual ). And it's great to see JLS at #4 aswell. I hope both these songs can be top 5 officially this week.

When I saw Labrinth #1 this morning I thought it must be a mistake - it was doing sod-all up to yesterday! :o

Yay!! Its showing as #292 when I searched! Come on Steps get that Top 100 smash!!!

Big YAY at Labrinth and Emeli :cheer:

So pleased it's gone Top 100 - No promo, 3(!!) radio plays and no video!

Seeing this week sales that are just in - JLS, Labrinth and SHM/Calvin prob wont be selling much this week - maybe 50-60k for them all, looking good for Robbie next week then?!

#72 for Steps now, actually doing FAR better than I'd expected considering the near zero promo/exposure.
Top version of "Don't You Worry Child" down to 0.8.

Climbing fast now - #61! Really shocked as the only promo so far has been a few tweets from Claire and I think it only got to #130 on the Irish iTunes
