The song is ok. I'm kinda bored of hearing songs about girls running things. They've also got the Calvin Harris sound that I dreaded them using.

Initial disappointment has now gone, it is good. Shame it sounds a bit like We Found Love, but I guess it didn't really need to be unique, did it?
Xenomania have hardy been unique lately though. Take You Bring Me Joy as an example, so 'by numbers' it's made, I'd have loved a unique catchy track, but I guess they didn't want to take the risk. I think this is good, for what it is though!

Cannot listen to it yet! How will I look CHeryl in the eye tomorrow at the meet & greet :heehee:

Only THREE days to go just about!

Yeah, I am not really understanding people saying they can't hear Nadine, she leads the whole chorus and I think the chanty bits is Nadine for the first half of it and Cheryl finishes it off. The 'we are the leaders of the pack' is also Nadine as well, so actually, I think I can actually hear more Nadine than anyone else to be quite honest.

Intro - Nadine/Cheryl

Chorus - Nadine & Cheryl

1st Verse - Kim/Nicola/Kim/Nicola

2nd Verse - Sarah/Nicola/Sarah/Kim

Outro - "Leaders of the pack" Cheryl & Nadine

"Follow the leader" Sarah

On first play it was slightly underwhelming, but after playing it 7 times in a row I can now say I am in love. Reminds me a lot of Call My Name. Like others have said, very Calvin Harris. It is amazing though, although I find Cheryl's chanting part quite cringe worthy. Anyone know if it will be OA/OS?

Yeah, I kind of thought as such. I think you can hear Nadine more than Cheryl on the chorus though.

And I don't mind if it sounds slightly 'Calvin Harrisy', it is hardly that far away from what they normally release and I really could imagine it slipping on the Tangled Up album very nicely.

The youtube clip is reminiscent of 'JLS - You Make Me Wanna'.

I think 'Something New' is the wrong title for this song

I'd say 'You Bring Me Joy' is very annoyingly catchy, I always find myself randomly singing that chorus.

I can hear both Cheryl and Nadine on the chorus at different parts of it, I'd say they're both leading it.

It's definitely catchy (I quite like it!), but I meant that it's nothing that hasn't been done 100 times before!

I quite like it! It will probably grow on me more though...

is it only me that thinks 'you bring me joy' is actually quite standout in terms of pop singles??? like the guitars and the deep throbbing bass - it was definitely xenomania brought up to date i think. i would've muuuch preferred girls aloud had had that even tho it isn't a closing single rly.

this single literally sounds like it was done by pete waterman in the 80's. so wishy-washy / underwhelming / cheesy / cringy. :(

gosh lewis you're so negaaaaaative, it's amazingggggg.
