A pretty unimpressive bonus disc. My favourite it "Girl Overboard" (which is possibly my favourite Girls Aloud album track), but the two singles that were chosen are their worst ever ("Wake Me Up") and another of their worst. It also doesn't include my two favourite B-sides of theirs, "She" and "Androgynous Girls" :(

I ADORE Memory Of You, Whole Lotta History, Girl Overboard, Graffiti My Soul and Wake Me Up so I'm very happy with those 5.

 

I do love Hoxton Heroes to and it their 2nd best b-side after Memory Of You so that's ok too.

 

I do wish Life Got Cold, Love Is Pain, Close To Love had made it though, oh well.

Great selection, so glad Black Jacks made it on there, I always feel like the only huge fan of that song, Nadine is perfect on it :wub: Yay for Memory Of You and Crazy Fool too, the latter is what I wish Cheryl's solo career had been based on either that or the intro of Sexy! No, No, No...

Shame that Life Got Cold didn't make it, or Some Kind Of Miracle, the version on the re-release of SOTU is fantastic and seems quite underrated on here!

 

Massive YAY for Whole Lotta History though! My second fave single by them (after Sexy!). Yays also for Memory Of You, Girl Overboard, Black Jacks and Wake Me Up.

Gutted at the lack of 'Miss You Bow Wow'/anything else from 'Out Of Control' really! Very pleased at 'Whole Lotta History' and 'Wake Me Up' being the singles that they'd originally left off, to make it though :wub: 'Black Jacks' is fantastic too! (My favourite 'Tangled Up' album track I think! - Not heard it in a while might have to give it a re-spin asap) 'Girl Overboard' is excellent, also. 'Memory Of You' I've only listened to once and although it's decent, it's a bit overrated... but I find most of GA's b-sides horrifically overrated anyway - in particular on here. (Especially 'Singapore' - very pleased that didn't make it)

I'd have been a bit miffed if 'Singapore' had made it. It was already on the bonus disc for 'The Sound of Girls Aloud', it didn't need to make another outing on their second Greatest Hits! :lol:

 

I'm still not into the concept for this CD2, but thankfully there's some pretty good chioces overall. I would have liked 'Life Got Cold' & 'Long Hot Summer' to make it, so all their original hits were included at the very least, but never mind.

Black Jacks is so overrated. I wish Control of the Knife had made it instead. Overall though it's a pretty great selection.

Fabulous, maybe the first sign that they could carry on further than Ten? I heard a bit of an interview with Kimberley earlier where she basically said that what Cheryl wrote in her book was a very long time ago and that if this goes well and it feels right, there could be more!

OMG I REALLY hope they carry on after Ten, I'd be gutted if they split. :cry:

If they call it a day after Ten, I wonder what's going to happen to their contract. As far as I remember they're contracted for 3 albums with Ten being one of them, do you think they'll release a Remix / Live / B-Sides album to fulfill it?
