Girls Aloud make their well earned return to the Radio One Playlist.
Disclosure on the A-List  And I'm surprised Bastille are off the playlist already especially and they are doing well in the mids!

Oh for goodness sake.

GA :D And Misha moving up is nice too I guess. Lana two weeks on the C-list?

Oh so 'Hurts Like Heaven' is getting a proper release then - fingers crossed for another top 40 hit at least then although I doubt it'll do much this long after the album release (unless they get another XF performance). Surprised it's taken R1 this long to playlist Labrinth but straight to B woo. Yay for Olly still getting support also, thought this might have been snubbed for some reason. Disclosure A-List :D

fun. could actually avoid being any kind of [x] hit wonder - still getting R1 support and presumably an XF slot for 'Carry On' this week.

Alicia Keys on the B-list and Girls Aloud on the C-list! :D Haven’t heard the latter on Radio 1 yet though.
Coldplay should've released Hurts Like Heaven in the place of Charlie Brown, its my favourite on the album but I'm expecting it to perform the worst by a mile :(

:cheer: for Misha B!!

And an absolute  at fun. being added. Gives me hope that Carry On will be performed on X Factor. A hatrick of immense songs from the band

Girls Aloud BACK on radio, I might cry

Haha, it's pretty cool to see Radio 1 supporting the song. Now I hope they can get A-listed before the release, especially since Olly is added as well.

Why drop Bastille just when it's about to become a hit? Although I guess just cos it's off the playlist doesn't mean they'll stop playing it.

I guess McFly have been officially snubbed then...

Shocker.

Shocker.

Well they don't usually snub the first couple of singles from a new McFly album. Maybe they're getting too old for Radio 1?

It's not from a New Album though.....Radio2 had the first play last week and IN DEMAND is playing the song tomorrow night and will be the only other time it's been played (other than the once on Radio2)

I think Mcfly will pop up on the Radio1 play list before the songs released and it's only tomorrow the video gets the first play.

Old/irrelevant, whatever.

Girls Aloud  A decade of relevance.

Radio 1 never playlist Olly (or JLS come to think of it) until at least two weeks after they've been played for the first time. Nice to see 'Troublemaker' appear at last though, should be A list within a couple of weeks, I know Greg James has been behind it a lot since he had Olly on the show to play it a few weeks back. Yay for Girls Aloud as well!

And LOL at One Direction leaving the playlist so soon. What was all that about the biggest single of the year? And the rest...GO GIRLS G-G-GO GO GO! YOU BOYS BETTER KNOW KNOW KNOW etc.

Yeah Hurts like Heaven has an impact date of the 19/11, may as well take advantage of xmas sales. Think the new Labrinth song isnt out until 19/11 as well - its just jumped up so quickly due to the XF that they added it to the blist to reflect the number of plays itll likely get in the next week when it inevitably charts at no1 - nobody could have predicted the performance on sunday night would have such a big impact.

Olly isnt out for another month though?? there's plenty of time to play him and i guarantee he will be alisted eventually - hes arguably britains biggest solo pop star the the moment.

Ridiculous the Bastille is off the playlist already - its been a much bigger hit than most could have imagined - surely it deserves another week or 2 or even being moved up to the alist a la Jake Bugg last week?

The new upfront list is up on the website now - Juloi Bashmere stays in it though, should be moved up in plays as its progress on itunes dictates!!
