October 26, 201212 yr Wow this will be HUGE - Its what the general public want i think and that showed when they sent Gerry & The Pacemakers back to #1 on iTunes after the TV documentary. This will also get huge media support.
October 26, 201212 yr I'm not against it, but we don't really need a cover of He Ain't Heavy...is there some significance to the track choice? As for the people you name...I heard it was Mick Jones, Pete Hooton, Pete Wylie who were behind it?

November 22, 201212 yr I shall definitely be downloading this. A) because of the cause it's for and B) because my campaign on Facebook for 'Beautiful Cause You Love Me' to be Christmas number 1 has been somewhat of a flop thus far! Edited November 22, 201212 yr by ThePensmith

December 4, 201212 yr Beautiful! this song is probably the most beautiful song ever written. So much sentimental value.
December 4, 201212 yr Some of those vocals are rather painful to listen to. I don't mind it as a whole and I obviously support the cause, but judging it musically, it seems like a run of the mill cover of a divine classic. Edited December 4, 201212 yr by Christmas Wombat
December 4, 201212 yr I absolutely love it, I'm such a sucker for these things. The bit where Melanie C/Robbie duet, and Ren Harvieu's bit are my favourite parts
December 14, 201212 yr Really can't stop playing (well, watching) this at the moment! It's so beautiful and I definitely think it's one of the best charity collaborations, in a long time. It's just so well thought out and feels like it's actually had time and effort put into it. Mel C deserved to have more parts though. Her part with Robbie is definitely the highlight for me. Shane McGowan is literally the worst thing about this (good job he has the least to do), but I can overlook that because it's just so good. A very welcome Christmas Number 1! EDIT: Just ordered my CD for it. One track for £2 is steep, when you can download it for 99p, but I want to feel a single again! (Last one I bought was 'Cannonball' - I would have had 'DNA' - but HMV haven't got back to me on that! :arrr:)
