Just heard Blue are only doing 4 dates of the tour....WTF......why sign up for something when you cant commit to it....Dumbasses...oh well im kinda glad they wont be at the o2 one hopefully every other band gets another song..

They aren't at Birmingham either but I can't decide if i'm happy or sad they aren't there.

Re Love of a Lifetime - not really a fan here. Much prefer Finally Found, Wont Take It Lying Down, Never Let You Down and End of the Line

Michelle Heaton has confirmed that Liberty X won't record new music.

Liberty X star Michelle Heaton has confirmed that the band won't be recording new music following their stint on ITV2's Big Reunion.

Heaton explained that the group are "on the same page" and are not planning a return to the charts.

Asked if Liberty X were working on a new album, she told Digital Spy and other journalists at a Claridge's event for the Health Lottery: "No, no. I think if Big Reunion comes back next year with another six acts we'll be around until then.

"I think we're just gonna enjoy it for what it is. We're not planning on making new music or new records like some of the other bands. We didn't really want the added pressure. We're just happy."

"As a band we're all on the same page," she continued. "We love doing what we're doing, we love performing, we're going to enjoy this year, but we have so many children between us."

On the band getting back into their latex outfits for the Big Reunion finale concert, she confessed: "It was quite a chore, mentally. But it worked out really well in the end and they seemed to go down really well."

Heaton recently defended Blue over reports that they had snubbed the Reunion tour after signing up for just four shows.

Shame about Liberty X, I do feel that if they'd been given a fairer cut by the producers they might have stayed at it :(

It's gorgeous but nobody remembered it at all :(

That was the general reaction to the Honeyz though wasn't it? I think they dubbed in extra applause etc for the Finally Found perf on TV (haven't got the video yet). Have to agree with Jonjo, End Of The Line is best, or at least the one I enjoyed most on the night (Rich gives pretty good diva hands for a straight boy :kink:)

I think Liberty X are being pretty sensible...look at the total non-event of Steps's 'Light Up The World' album, ok yeah it was massively underpromoted but it was never going to sell as much as their 90s classics. A manufactured pop group full of 30-somethings who were briefly huge ten years ago are hardly gonna sell bucketloads of new material. Even if they released something absolutely brilliant, it wouldn't sell as much as if (say) One Direction sang the exact same song and released it themselves.

Although saying that, if you'd have told me at the beginning of 2000 that Kylie Minogue was about to make a massive comeback and have loads of number 1s (including a million-seller), I'd have thought you were crazy :P

I deserve some damn res-PECT *hands*

End Of The Line > Finally Found >>> Love Of A Lifetime >> Never Let You Down > Won't Take It Lying Down

All are 9/10's at least though, don't care about their other flop singles...

To be fair, they were only ever announced as 'special guests' for the Hammersmith event. All the posters etc. for the tour on the night had no mention of Blue, so doing 4 dates is more than they signed up for. I think they're confirmed for the winter dates though.

Oh my! The DVD of the tour was excellent. Really, really loved it. If only I had the money to get tickets to one of the dates goddamnit! :( I WILL go to one. Whether it's the one in May or the Christmas special, I will be going.

Also, Mariama (?) from The Honeyz remindes me of Jade from Little Mix. It's how I'm expecting her to look (and sound -) in the future! Stunning.

For a bit of variety I'd love if they did a version of this show with solo singers from the 90's/00's. OK there would not be the same drama as having bands reforming but it could still be interesting.

They could have: Louise, Michelle Gayle, Kavana, Samantha Mumba, Rachel Stevens, Holly Valance, Jamelia, Shayne Ward, Gareth Gates, Billie Piper, Mark Morrison, Peter Andre, Gina G, Gabrielle and whoever else.

Not sure if this has been posted previously. I am HOWLING!
