Candy isn't that bad, and compared to other lead singles from his albums (the woeful Trippin', the annoying Bodies, or the 'I had it blanked from my memory' Rudebox), it's a slice of genius.

Taylor has survived another week of new entries to stay in the top 10! Just incredible! :wub:

I'd much rather have had "Bodies" at #1 three years ago, not feeling "Candy" at all. Plus it'd be nice to have fewer one week wonders at this time of year so even though I don't love it I'm team Labrinth this week.

Candy looking at peaking at 2/3 this week, the XF boost will move it up to no2 until wednesday then itll drop to 3 before getting a late boost with Graham Norton on friday meaning itll be no2 at the end of the week!!

I don't know what I was expecting really. He got a top 10 hit a couple of years ago with Emeli when she was much less famous. I wish he was #1, he's so talented.

 

Well done to Wiley for rippingoff his old track for his new one. Evidently giving into pressure to go mainstream.

 

They did that with Good Times and Green Light aswell.

 

Infact, lots of artists release basically the same song twice, and the 2nd one nearly always does worse than the first. I can only think of one instance where the 2nd did better than the 1st.
