Just wondering what the overall opinion is on the 2 songs, which do you prefer?

Flower is a gorgeous song, Timebomb is b-side quality. No competition.

Flower would easily be ahead of timebomb for me, i do like time bomb but it never fully excited me, it lacked some of the kylie magic for. I have to admit when i heard flower first i was like hmm not sure but it grew on me and i just love it at the moment, its stuck in my head the whole time.

Timebomb. Flower is lovely and thats about it.

I love Flower but it's definitely Timebomb for me.

To be fair they're completely different songs, but 'Timebomb' by a zillion miles for me. It's pretty much soundtracked my year. :wub:

Flower by absolute miles, Timebomb is so weak!

Flower by a long length, timebomb is cheap in comparison.

Flower because it is so personal, heartfelt and different for her. Brings a tear.

 

Love Timebomb too, should have done better but a fun song. Perhaps lacks a killer edge and think it fell slightly short of its potential.

Easily Flower for me, i do like time bom but in one sense its one of Kylie more forgettable singles, its certainly not a song i think will be played in years to come, flower would have a better chance of that but overall i much prefer Flower, for me flower is her best single since all the lovers.

Had it not been for the personal background behind the lyrics of Flower, this would have been quite hard as they are both totally different songs. Timebomb is highly infectious, reminded me of a more upbeat version of All the Lovers in places (for example, "Fast, time is ticking oh so fast" sounds rather like "Dance, its all I wanna do, so won't you dance?"). Timebomb could have quite easily beaten Flower if it wasn't for the reasons I gave before. I also love the piano instrumental to Flower.

oh no, for me time bomb been compared to all the lovers is an insult (my opinion only) but all the lovers is Kylie perfection for me, a good solid pop songs with no gimmicks, time bomb on the another hand is forgettable and doesnt have any Kylie trade mark as such. I do see your point about Flower but i usally like Kylies ballad songs like bittersweet goodbye were always big faves of mine and flower is along the same roads sound wise.

I personally think 'Bittersweet Goodbye' is horrible, which is a shame as my adoration for Light Years is so high. 'Flower' is at least light years ahead of that (no pun intended!).

Lyric wise only! :P And when I say that, I just mean the way they are set out.

All the lovers and time bomb should not belong in the one sentence, time bomb is nothing in the league of all the lovers in any shape or form, that is a no go area! :angry:
