Bruno won't get #1, he's ony selling 68.75% of Olly. Olly is holding up extremely well, Labrinth has actually fallen away from him over the weekend (back down to 56.25% :o)

Personally I'm very annoyed to see the mediocre Bruno Mars song back up there, and Rihanna's interminably dull 'Diamonds' that refuses to flush away down the U-bend.

I wish it was two other performers, or rather Rihanna had just performed something else.

I know it is opinions and all that, but for me Diamonds is such a step forward for Rihanna.

I really think she did it better a few years ago with 'Russian Roulette', this truly pales in comparison. She did the same sort of thing but more interesting on a lot of Rated R, this is just lazy and feels like there's been no effort put into it IMO.

So do we think Bruno will catch Olly then? He'd had a significant boost tbf! And will Olly beat Rihanna's album?

Each to his own, I love Rated R but the 1st 5 songs on it are pretty bog standard Rihanna. To me she didn't have to make unapologetic, she could have easily churned out another Loud or Talk That Talk, the album could have been 14 'right nows' and still sold bucket loads. So I applaud her at least going in the direction she has.

Just wondering if The Pogues & Mariah Carey will be top 40 this week.

Girls Aloud 'Ten' songs:

#730 - Beautiful Cause You Love Me

#1168 - On The Metro

#1401 - Every Now And Then

Olly Murs 'Right Place Right Time' songs:

#1497 - Dear Darlin'

I think at least one of them will be, they'll climb throughout the week and Mariah is nearing the top 40 while The Pogues now have two versions top 75 which puts them just barely top 40 combined now.

If they do both enter this week then they'll almost certainly have the same number of top 40 weeks as last year. Although this time last year The Pogues were #23 and Mariah #27, not sure either will be anywhere near as high as that this week.

Why did The Scrip and Robbie not move onto single 2 for their strictly performances - 2 singles sell an album more than 1 imo.

Also The Pogues and Mariah might get the 59p boast of last year in the next couple of weeks!!

The Pogues were never reduced to 59p last year - they were almost the only Xmas song that wasn't.

Indeed, they still sold the most copies too. Imagine if it was 59p. Its the 25th anniversary this year too!!
Good to see Snow Patrols version of Run higher than the cover!
Might use this as an excuse to go download 'Wires', I don't own it and hey, it might help it return to the top 40 :P

Robbie wasn't on Strictly. 'Candy' was performed by the Strictly singers while Victoria Pendleton danced.
