67 Julio Bashmore - Au Seve (amazing longevity for a #55 hit! :yahoo:)

I honestly hear this song so much. I hear it in shops, I hear it in the gym, I hear it everytime I go clubbing, I hear it on the radio a bit, a lot of my friends love it aswell. I wish it made top 40 because it's been like a soundtrack to my life for the last half of 2012.

Gangnam Style is going to knock Alicia out the top 10 in a bit. :drama: I hope Alicia can get more hits from this album. Even better if it's like last time where singles #2 and #3 end up bigger than the 1st one.

'Stay' is Rihanna's next single? Has it been confirmed? That would have been the third choice i've now seen thrown around as the next single and it's the only one of the three i'm accepting lol.

Didn't this happen with the 'Rated R' era? After 'Russian Roulette' had been released, there were rumours of different single releases. In the end there was a music video for 'Hard' and 'Rockstar 101' but I guess these were just promotional videos to continue selling the album. I've always regarded 'Rude Boy' as the second official single from the album.

Maybe they'll do the same with 'Unapologetic'.

It was Hard and Rude Boy that had the videos at that point. And at first the UK was supposed to be getting Hard, and Capital FM playlisted it, and the song almost went top 40 before it got "cancelled". Wait Your Turn also had a music video but that was before the album came out (it almost made top 40 on album release week). It ended up being something like:

UK

1. Russian Roulette

2. Rude Boy

3. Te Amo

4. Hard

US

1. Russian Roulette

2. Hard

3. Rude Boy

4. Rockstar 101

She also had different songs out in different countries for the end of the Loud album. But I hope that doesn't happen with this album, at least not as early as 2nd single, it gets messy imo, and we result in amazing songs like Hard missing the top 40.

I really don't get the hype with Stay at all. It just sounds like an R&B ballad version of I Won't Give Up to me.

'Stay' at the moment is the only song I'm interested in other then Diamonds on Rihanna's new album. Thought it'd like the CB and DG collabs but was disappointed by both. Haven't heard the whole album throughout yet but heard the previews and only Stay has interested me as of yet. So hope that is the next single :D

All I Want for Christmas Is You (Original Version) #24

Fairytale of New York (feat. Kirsty MacColl) #33

Still D.R.E  #41

46. Last Christmas (Single Version) - Wham!

48. I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday - Wizzard

67. Merry Christmas Everyone - Shakin' Stevens

68. Merry Christmas Everybody - Slade

82. Do They Know It's Christmas? - Band Aid

92. Driving Home for Christmas - Chris Rea

On the topic of Rihanna and Unapologetic - I was under the impression "Pour It Up" had been selected as the second single? A good choice, in my opinion - releasing "Right Now" after "Diamonds" would've been a bad call; the two are too polar. A big fan of "Stay", "Numb" and "Phresh Out the Runway" too - so would happily see any of those get released.

No, Pour It Up isn't a single. It's a good song, but it'd be a strange single choice. Phresh Out the Runway and Numb are soooo catchy. I also hope they're singles. A lot of the people with more AC/Eurovision tastes would hate those songs, but Rihanna released songs like You Da One, Cheers, Hard, etc. before so I don't think she cares really.

The Pogues  32 + 41 - two versions top 40 very soon then :D

 15. Isn't She Lovely - Jimmy Higham & Jon Walmsley

This has taken its time to take off, for a charity single.

'Outselling singles by One Direction, Robbie Williams and Rihanna' seems less impressive when considering the former two are second versions of songs in the top 10 and the latter isn't even a single (assuming they are referring to 'Right Now')

Gangnam Style  #10*

Girl On Fire  #11

*Waits for Pablo Escobar to comment on Saturday being PSY's favourite day

I think PSY's favourite day of this year would be New Year's Eve. Everyone will be doing the gangnam style to celebrate the end of the year, and it's also his birthday.

Grr the weekend effect is not working for Ke$ha. She's still at #4

McFly's Love is Easy at #42 & #97. I predict something around #30 - #32 tomorrow. Not bad chart run then! ^_^

17. Taylor Swift - I Knew You Were Trouble.

121. Calvin Harris ft. Tinie Tempah - Drinking From the Bottle

122. Girls Aloud - Beautiful Cause You Love Me

189. Rihanna ft. Mikky Ekko - Stay

217. One Direction - Kiss You

301. Nicki Minaj - Freedom

420. Alicia Keys - Brand New Me

787. Little Mix - Change Your Life

1280. Emeli Sande - Clown

1395. Leona Lewis - Lovebird

I won't be. I don't even know how it all goes and what I have seen just looks daft and not even in a good way.

The only bit I don't bother doing is the bit where you're supposed to put your hands on your hips and waddle around. It seems like too much effort, so I usually do Cali Swag District for that bit, but the horse-riding part is so fun.

337. Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars

:o No chance of it passing 100k again this year if it's this low down!

I'm hoping James can get Gabrielle Aplin to #1 with The Power Of Love, if that is the song he is doing!! (I know there is a few different songs called that)
