Ooh, this will be very interesting - where was it confirmed? It's a very busy market now, but it could stay top 10 until January maybe and peak then.

 

Admittedly I predicted #11-#20 when I first heard this as I didn't think it would have the appeal, but I love the song now, its got a lot of hype around it and its getting good airplay! I hope it does well! :wub:

Really, have they not learned? I don't see bringing the release forward being a good thing for it at all, could do with at least a couple of weeks to build up airplay.

He/she has another account, and has private messaged me about my recent comment in this thread. :drama: I can tell it's him. I recognize the writing style PERFECTLY. The obsessive hatred for Britney and the obsessive stanning for Kylie. THOSE random smilies and emoticons. All those CAPITAL LETTERS and exclamation marks!!!!!!!! Massive long paragraphs that have nothing to do with anything (he was going on about The Wanted at one point :blink:). All because I said Britney was hot, basically.

I think OA/OS (well almost) will work in this song's favour. There's a bit of hype around the song already, so that will get it off to a good start and the music video and airplay are building. Not to mention it could really benefit from the itunes gift card week as I'm sure its airplay and TV play will be quite high then. Plus, it always has the chance to go to #1 in January if it doesn't go to #1 before then.

 

I don't think going to #1 is important at all though. A top 10 peak and going silver at least will be good. Anything more than that will be a bonus imo.
