As much as I hate Will.I.Am, that would be pretty awesome.

I think it's more likely to be Leanne Mitchell though.

Girls Aloud + Eurovision = YES. I am not here for any description of guest rapper though. Well, maybe Azealia.
Not for one minute am I going to let myself get excited about that rumour - it would be amazing, but it's just too good for it to be true.
Oooooh Girls Aloud? I'm up for that, if only because the Eurovision curse will kill Cheryl's career.
I think we're all forgetting that Girls Aloud would never do Eurovision in a million years. :(

Well they aren't exactly at a career peak!

I think will.i.am would be a lot more believable though, he seems just crazy enough to consider it and he is already at the BBC.

Who?

Oh yeah, the one who won The Voice UK and her career ended before it began. :D

Yeah, but they aren't exactly at a career low! (well, they might be but they're still pretty popular)

I think Will.I.Am would be a lot more believable as well though, I could imagine seeing him at Eurovision! :D

I have heard that Girl Overboard was meant to be a Eurovision entry but obviously that never materialised. Whenever they've visited other countries, they've often said that as a group they enjoy representing the UK abroad and are proud to do so, so I wouldn't say Eurovision is completely out of the question for them.

Precisely. It's the only thing she could do to get anything out of winning The Voice really, hence why I think it's the most obvious option for the BBC. She has tweeted recently that news is due soon from her but she can't say what it is just yet.

Oh. It really is going to be Leanne, isn't it? Oh yay :nocheer: I was a fan of her during 'The Voice', but I honestly cannot see her doing any better than what Englebert did for us last year. Jesus Christ BBC! Take note of the last couple of winners! They've been relevant, chart friendly, mainstream winners! Not dull, "retro sounding", disco stomper or crooner ballads! Why are we so dated with our entries? 'I Can' really should have been a top 10 for us though and I can't believe we lost out to that thanks to the judges! :drama:

(Obviously nothing has been confirmed about Leanne, but I think her tweet about "not being able to say anything yet" etc... is a big clue - and it's also going on the assumption that she is going to have a horribly dated snorefest for a song). Happy to be wrong though!

Ell & Nikki? :kink:

Ell & Nikki? :kink:
It was very current and radio friendly I thought. I loved it! :o Why does no one else like it? :(
I liked Ell & Nikki but i not enough to win, i didnt mind it winning but thought there could have been better winners.

Ell & Nikki were definitely in my top 5 of their year and I was very happy they won! It does seem to be very underrated though :(

I think we're forgetting that Eric Shadayday still would've not won if there had been no Ell & Nikki in the competition. :D

Assuming, of course, that he wouldn't have been promoted one or two places in some votes had there been no Ell & Nikki in the competition...given there were only four points in it between him and Italy, more than surmountable.

I KNEW you (or someone else) would reply with this but yeah, that could've happened... although we're never going to find out if it's true.

And I like to believe the good always overcomes the evil so I'll just pretend Madness of Love would've won :D

I can't imagine anything more HORRIFYING. Just imagine how much shit we'd have had to put up with last year.
