His choice is one of my all time favourite songs, so if it's true (God help us if it is!) then there needs to be a campaign for people to buy the original or just to buy the Justice Collective single instead! OH GOD.

Oh god, Christopher's will be horrific! And it has nothing to do with what the show is about. Not a fan of the original either. I love the other two songs, seems so geared up for Jahmene to storm it though, Impossible doesn't suit James much (although I've no doubt it'll be great anyway).

 

The Reason is one of my favourite tracks, Christopher is going to kill it if its true, James would have been better suited for the track. Unless someone is playing mind games with the selection, and they meant to be Let It Be for Chris, Impossible for Jahmene and The Reason for James. That seems more appropriate to me. Mind you Impossible is not a bad track for James to cover, he probably give his own version of it

I thought James was doing Let It Be, which got me all excited, but its BOREOFF Jahmene instead.

Hopefully they will go for some lesser known Christmas songs, rather than the obvious classics. Would be nice to see something different have a chance of making the Top 40.

Because he's terrible.

 

Lets face it, his singing really isn't bad at all. No worse than anyone else in the final. But he's not 'current' enough for young audiences and hey, everyone loves a bandwagon. I have to admit I just want him to win to piss on everyone's chips. It's still a travesty Carolynne went in the first week and I've not bothered since. It's just so amusing that he irritates so many people.

I'm almost certain I remember someone doing 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' last year so I don't think they have scrapped it yet.

 

If they must do it again this year then anything but 'AIWFCIY' would be fine.

 

EDIT: Actually that must have been the year before, but last year Marcus sang 'Last Christmas' and Little Mix sang 'Silent Night' on the final day.

 

EDIT2: Okay I just have an awful memory because no one has ever done 'AIWFCIY' on X Factor :kink: Indeed before last year they had cancelled it for a few years, the last time being 2008 when the above 2 songs were also sang by JLS and Alexandra respectively and there was also Eoghan doing 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday'.
