The Semi 2 is weak (if you don't count my entries) so only the Top 10 deserved points really :(

Pretty much going to be finished voting in a sec, only 3 I didn't know before: Quicksand, Black Butta and Right Here (the other non-big-hits I'd heard from looking up old winners in the past)

 

Only about 8 of them I would have balked at voting for overall - we have a fairly good set here... the best few are really, really good. Semi 2 is stronger I think, my favourite song is there and my votes were far far tighter to decide there.

This was slightly easier than voting in a normal final, as some of these are already favourites of mine, but I did make some pretty good discoveries as well. Semi 1 was great, but semi 2 got really tiresome after a while, to the point where I couldn't be arsed to listen to everything in full.

 

I am actually really glad for this years winners though, as they undoubtedly added a touch of variety to this selection.

I think you will! All your winners are some of the more recent ones (i.e. a lot of the voters (if not all) who are in BJSC now/the last 10 contests at least, will be voting).

 

I hope that overrated Royksopp & Robyn track doesn't win. I like it, don't get me wrong, but it's ridiculously overrated on here. I'd definitely prefer a Margaret Berger win from the songs which would be considered overrated. That to me, is the most iconic and ultimate BJSC entry (although it HASN'T received my 18 points in semi 2 :o - it's not shocking when you'll see what's above it :lol:).

 

Semi 2 was really tough! Two songs I didn't really like (one of them I've always found awfully dull and bland, the other one is boring and the video is shocking - I don't care whether it's based on a true story I just can't :( - I think that's affected me more and made me like the song less than I should but I can't help it - I listened to it without watching the video and I just couldn't stop thinking about the vid, sorry :()

 

Also in Semi 1, I don't care but I'm definitely voting Roll Deep! :wub:

I agree. I think its well documented that I'm quite fond of animals, but I don't find it 'vile' at all, its a very thoughtful, hard hitting tribute, and an innovative idea about the pains of being alone.

SF1 is packed full of absolute gems. :wub: My highest rated track in SF2 would've been 8th had it been in SF1. :o

I'm glad we've got an extension, I've only had chance to listen to the 1st semi final so far!

Is there any chance we're gonna get votes from the likes of Lorikeet/Herzebania/anyone else who is unreliable at voting or just doesn't play any more? I can see a lot of their winners failing to qualify undeservedly because of that. :( Even more so since a couple of songs I was less familiar with have grown a bit since voting.
