yeah but two hits don't make her a worldwide star, she needs at least 6 or 7 huge hits before she could start competing with Rihanna, Gaga,Katy Perry, Pink, Britney, Beyonce for the title of international superstar female of the moment...

Gosh, I swear some of you live in the charts sometimes. Everybody knows who Taylor Swift is. Even before this year she was very famous, her biggest hit was from 2009 for starters. And she was known for other things like the long string of men she dates making teenage girls all over the world very jealous (Taylor Lautner, that guy from One Direction, the Jonas brother, Jake Gyllenhaal, etc.), for being annoyingly perfect, etc.

Her worldwide chart presence has certainly improved this year though (her only worldwide smash before was Love Story).

I can't believe I thought the X Factor winner was only going to sell about 200,000. He's definitely looking for 300,000+ now. :drama:

Im surprised Kiss You isn't in the top 10 yet.

I read in a newspaper last week that Eminem's daughter Hailie is jealous of her because she is supposedly going out with Harry from One Direction.

It's a Labrinth and Emeli Sande song that is on both their albums. And I didn't understand the last bit.

Labrinth FEATURING Emeli Sande. I don't like quoting Wikipedia but "it was released as the sixth single from Labrinth's debut album, Electronic Earth, on 18 November 2012" doesn't really give off vibes of it being her single.

Surprised at the positive top 10 effect for 'Stay'. Was thinking it would have to take something massive to get rid of some of the songs that have been static in the top 10 for so long.

LMAO!!! this guy is so funny, i wish this was at #1 and he is repping London very well.

I saw a picture of Hailie the other day, she's so grown up now. I find it scary, because I still always imagine her as a little girl from his songs, it made me feel really old now. :( I wonder how Eminem feels about her being a One Direction fan, he used to really hate N Sync, Backstreet Boys, etc. back in the day.

I don't understand girls tbh. I always take pride in the fact that my favourite artists are probably banging loads of women, but girls have melt-downs over RUMOURS of their favourite male pop star doing, like, anything. :drama: Why can't they just be happy for them.

330. Eminem - Lose Yourself

349. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - Thrift Shop

496. Jay-Z - 99 Problems

606. Kanye West - Gold Digger

648. 50 Cent - In Da Club

759. Sean Paul - Get Busy

864. Black Eyed Peas - Where is the Love?

904. Flo Rida - Low

958. Tinie Tempah - Pass Out

1022. Shontelle ft. Akon - Stuck With Each Other - Shontelle getting Akon relevent again

1196. 2Pac - Ghetto Gospel

On another note, Lady Gaga now has no songs left in the top 1000. Infact, her highest song is #1400. I can't wait until she disappears from the top 1500.

What an absolute shitstorm of a chart. No disernable talent involved at all

Disclosure, will.i.am, Daley, Rudimental, Wiley, Labrinth are all very talented in my opinion.

This is just insane - makes it look like only one song is selling anything at all!

I keep looking at Kworb, expecting the others to at least *start* closing the gap, but it just insn't happening (yet)!

Disclosure, will.i.am, Daley, Rudimental, Wiley, Labrinth are all very talented in my opinion.

Conveniently ignores everyone associated with Band Aid...

Kiss You  #10

Happy for them. BTW - James is now 100 Vs 0.093

400K on lock. LOL at the people that said he will do 150K and much lower than LM.

.

Fact is, I bought her album - I counted the number of songs that were singles, and came to 7 (although Read All About It is still under discussion). 7 singles on an album with her name on the cover. Therefore I am saying that she has released 7 singles from the album.

Being a father, I'm sure he understands. 1D were invited by Johnny Depp to spend some time at his house, I can't imagine Johnny being a fan either. :teresa:

Valid point here. There's no escaping the fact that Our Version Of Events is currently an album with 7 singles on it, even if they weren't released specifically to promote this album (though in another respect they could have been, as Beneath Your Beautiful and Wonder were conveniently released around the same time as its re-release, but that's another can of worms...).

Kiss You  #10

Finally!

I hope this does well, it's so much better than "Live While We're Young" and "Little Things". Can't believe LT is still in the Top 10, such a depressing song.

Wow... at James's lead, the track is really exceeded my expectations, no sign of slowing down yet, I'm thinking the track could actually hit over 300k now. Other tracks lower down the iTunes chart are hardly increasing.
Happy for them. BTW - James is now 100 Vs 0.093

I wouldn't LOL at them though, it is quite understandable considering the lack of interest for the show this year and the ratings for the finale dropping to a seven year low. It wasn't a given for him to do better than Little Mix.

I heard his version for the first time yesterday and I quite like it. Yet I'm a sucker for big soppy ballads when Christmas gets close, so it's not a surprise

I really like 'Kiss You' and am glad to see it top 10, but not at the expense of Ke$ha :( I wanted to see it have a decent run in the top 10 over the christmas period, if only to compensate for what's happened to her album.
