February 15, 201312 yr I really like their cover. Whilst Blondie's is the supreme of the two, 1D's fresh take on it is really exciting! I'll definitely be buying on Monday! :D

It's not really desperate though? Raising money for the charity is the main point of this whole thing, and they know that getting a bigband like 1D to do it is better than just asking some washed up one hit wonder from 1998 or Parade or something. It's just common sense for whoever organised/chose it all to pick an act who will sell...

(It'd probably equate to about the same as the position they're currently at in the iTunes singles chart now though)
