Hopefully she gets a lovely send off and is reunited with Stacey, Lilly and Sean! Or goes away to live with her new man

Well I havent caught up with Eastenders recently but the last time I did she wasn't really doing that much so im not suprised. Maybe Stacey and her will return together 5, 10 years later.

I'm really shocked at this,

cant leave, yet another great character and actress leaving the sinking ship but at least it looks like she will get a happy exit and hopefully can return at some point!!

 

But having said that, we've got two big returning characters and Peggy for a bit so hopefully Dominic can turn the show around!!

 

I personally would axe the Masood's, when Zainab left I think the whole family should have gone but if they stay they need to be used more! I would also axe Joey and of course Fatboy, his scenes in last nights episode just made me cringe

First I've heard about her leaving, mind you I think I speak on behalf of everyone! She's a great actress, as well as character when the producers/writers try - it's awful when they make her come across as some nutter (she has bi-polar, she's not a maniac for Christ's sake). Her storylines with Stacy (i.e. Stacy's bi-polar story) and those when she was first introduced were fantastic!
I definitely agree about the Masoods. Zainab leaving was good for the family (in terms of the show) for a total of two seconds; seeing their meltdown, etc, but now they're just kind of... extras. They can all go, apart from AJ.

Shirley's really past her best. She needs to either get back with Phil or just leave the show altogether. The whole friction between her and Sharon was incredibly cringy to watch (well, that's all Sharon is since she came back - a big ball of cringe).

I love Shirley but she really needs something to DO because she's not been a prominent character since the conclusion of the Heather being killed storyline...

Tonight's episode was just fantastic, reminded me of how great an actress Patsy Palmer and Jessie Wallace both are, and even Shona and the girl who plays Tiffany.

 

I was unsure where this story was going at the start of the week but this was the best episode of the year and great writing from Simon Ashdown as always I was glued to the tv for the first time in a long time!! I pray this is the turning point for EE as these storylined/episodes are what the show does best!!

Friday was such a good episode! I really like that Whitney's stories have gone back to being more serious, she really shines so much better through than them the 'lolbantz' other young actors. Jessie and Patsy were both excellent also.
