lol at Michael blinking when he was suppose to be dead , also how can you die so quickly from being stabbed? he was suppose to have bled to death instead of dying instantly after being stabbed the 2nd time.

OMG that episode! :o So tense and dramatic all the way through. Shocked that it actually ended up being Janine that did it. Definitely the best episode in a while, though!
Alfie in his costume made me jump -_- just came out of nowhere, anyhow I found the whole episode wery good and well executed, I really thought Michael would have a massive grin on his face, as he went down.
David Witts has been signed by a Hollywood agent! This is just too funny.

:cheer:

This unnecessary shade <_<

Might have hit an organ or something - that would have killed him pretty much instantly.

I've just watched tonight's episode on iPlayer. Fantastic script and Janine was particularly excellent: the part where she walks in making out she was attacked before telling Michael she's framing him was very good indeed. Seems like this is Janine's first murder - I don't class Barry's death as a murder - although you could still argue it was self-defence. She's so going to make out it was Alice who killed him though.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem the show will focus on the aftermath of this story too much since Bianca's return and Max's trial will the main stories of the next couple of weeks.

This storyline with Michael will be unresolved i think

because both Alice and Janine are leaving

so they wouldn't have time to do a proper murder investigation and then a trial to prove Janine killed him. My prediction is that Alice will either go to jail or go on the run which means Janine will get away with murder again.

Please tell me it is a modeling agent, and not an acting one

That was some episode! WOW is all I can say. Jasmyn Bank's acting was fantastic (as was Charlies obvs) I was really surprised. Hate Janine though D: poor Alice :'(
Why is he coming back

Not sure, but it will probably be to help Kat make some sort of decision or something which doesn't really need him to return.

I enjoyed tonight's episode and I too was quite impressed by Alice's acting - in fact I think she's drastically improved in the past couple of weeks. Joey, on the other hand, was quite dreadful.

You's are acting like he shouldn't return. ~iconic~ and all, so probably worth it for a character's sake (most likely, as you say, Kat)

This storyline is going to be rather dreadful!

How come?

Well I don't mind him returning but I know it will be a completely irrelevant return - one-off episode returns usually are. :P

Charlie Brooks is a phenomenal actor. I was actually crying at her grieving widow routine while giving her statement to the police. It reminded me of the utterly iconic "If only he'd worn slip on shoes!" lime after Barry's death. She is the best.
I'm gonna miss Janine :( We need a good soap bitch.

I used to love Janine, but they've ruined her character. I don't mind seeing her go before they ruin her even more!

Plus, I hate Alice but for once I've actually felt sympathy for her in the last two episodes!

I wouldn't say Janine's character has been ruined as such but there is certainly a difference between how she is now and was in the past. I think the change may have started with her relationship with Ryan - since then she's seems to have grown a heart! :P She can be bitchy every now and then but never in the same way as she was in, say, 2004 - my first memories of Eastenders go back to then and I've always associated Janine with that bitch with the long blonde hair. :D

Mind you, the stunt she's pulled this week by allowing Alice to take the blame seems to be a big step back to the scheming and manipulative side of her.
