December 24, 201212 yr Author From here on out, I literally ADORE everything! :o SINGLES: http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mc3xsgGCh01qilz9bo1_500.gif 31-40: 031. Katy Perry | 'Wide Awake' [30-X(8)-19-13-13-5-2-4-10-14-19-29-40] ; (12 Weeks) 040. Flo-Rida | 'Wild Ones' (feat. Sia) [8-5-4-9-10-12-15-22-30] ; (9 Weeks) Kick starting what seems to be the section for featured artists, is the latest hit from Jennifer Lopez. It's another Pitbull collaboration and I think I'm alone, but I think this is miles ahead of 'On the Floor' for me. In fact, I'd go as far as saying it's my favourite J. Lo song! will.i.am gets help from none other than the legendary Ms. Britney Spears for their dancefloor, club anthem 'Scream & Shout'. It's still charting, but I get the feeling it may enter somewhere in my top 100 EOY songs next year! Rita Ora's second entry in this chart comes at #33 with the impressive, 'R.I.P.'. fun.'s success this year has been nothing short of brilliant. Deservedly so too! The anthemic, debut single 'We Are Young' is at number 34. Cover Drive get their final entry, this time inside the top 40 at #35 with the fantastic 'Twilight'. Justin Bieber's highest entry is at number 36 and it's with 'As Long As You Love Me' (i.e. his best song yet). Loreen's last Swedish single, 'Crying Out Your Name' is at #37. Would love for this to get a huge UK push, but I highly doubt it'll do anything. Nicki Minaj enlists in the help of Cassie, for the storming single 'The Boys'. Katy Perry's 'Wide Awake' is at number 39. The perfect song, to end such a successful era for her and finally, Flo's highest entry comes in the form of his duet with Sia and monster smash, 'Wild Ones'. Yep, that's right I put it ahead of 'Titanium'... AND WHAT?
December 24, 201212 yr Author SINGLES: http://fashionjunqui.files.wordpress.com/2012/04/momre.gif 21-30: 021. Olly Murs | 'Troublemaker' (feat. Flo-Rida) [12-5-5-2-11-7-8-12-18-26] ; (10 Weeks) **STILL CHARTING** 022. Rita Ora | 'How We Do (Party)' [7-10-18-37-15-16-26-32-X(5)-8-7-7-6-8-13-16-24-28-32-38] ; (19 Weeks) 023. Imagine Dragons | 'It's Time' [18-9-7-4-3-6-10-15-23-37-40] ; (11 Weeks) 026. Alicia Keys | 'Girl On Fire (Inferno Version)' (feat. Nicki Minaj) [2-2-8-7-11-13-16-17-23-26-12-16-25-29-41] ; (15 Weeks) **STILL CHARTING** 027. Marina & The Diamonds | 'Primadonna' [3-3-5-8-10-11-11-10-14-18-20-26-29-32] ; (14 Weeks) 028. Ne-Yo | 'Let Me Love You (Until You Learn to Love Yourself)' [6-2-3-5-6-5-8-11-16-21-26-39] ; (12 Weeks) 029. Stooshe | 'Black Heart' [8-4-5-2-3-6-9-16-19-22-25-21-28-35-37-39] ; (16 Weeks) 030. B.o.B. | 'Both Of Us' (feat. Taylor Swift) [28-2-6-7-8-14-20-30-18-15-13-16-23-31-37-39] ; (16 Weeks) Missing out on the top 20 we have Olly Murs' latest single, 'Troublemaker'. Another guy who is no stranger to my EOY charts! #22 sees Rita Ora's final song enter, this time with 'How We Do (Party)'. Swedish House Mafia, had I heard this like 2 months before release, I'm sure it would have got a little higher than it did in my chart. Number 1 wouldn't have been out the question, anyway. 'Don't You Worry Child' enters at a very respectful #23! Taylor Swift's first single, taken from her new album 'Red', makes an appearance next. She has one more entry still to come and it IS top 20 (well, DUH). A song that I am predicting to do huge things next year is up next at #25. Imagine Dragons will surely follow in fun.'s footsteps next year and be the big, breakthrough rock band? 'It's Time' has all the elements going for it. It's anthemic and is just likeable! #26 sees Alicia Keys return to the music scene after giving birth! Strictly only the Nicki Minaj version of the song though. It somehow packs the punch that the original just lacks for me. Marina's single 'Primadonna' manages to score her another top 30 EOY placing at number 27. Ne-Yo's new/comeback single 'Let Me Love You...' enters at #28. I feel like I'm alone in appreciating this! It's fantastic. Stooshe and their monster, airplay hit 'Black Heart' is at #29 whilst arguably the biggest, shock flop hit of 2012 'Both Of Us' by B.o.B. which featured Taylor Swift, manages to just claim a top 30 EOY positioning. So underrated.
December 28, 201212 yr Author ALBUMS: 15: B.o.B. | 'Strange Clouds' Chart Run: [3-1-3-3-6-7-9-10-7-10-X(8)-5-7] ; (10 Weeks) Top 5: 01. 'Both Of Us' (feat. Taylor Swift) 02. 'So Good' 03. 'Chandelier' (feat. Lauriana Mae) 04. 'Out Of My Mind' (feat. Nicki Minaj) 05. 'Castles' (feat. Trey Songz) Number 15 sees, possibly my favourite rapper in recent times. B.o.B. has a flow, like no other I've heard. He is the only guy who has shown me that male rappers can still be as hard and as gritty as they want to be with their raps/lyrics, but also have a melody! The top 5 is EASY and pull away from the pack the most, but overall, this album is a very solid effort that is just as good (if not better) than his debut. There's certain charisma to his raps, and the hooks on this album are as strong as any hook you'd hear from Rihanna or Katy Perry! SO GOOD. 'Out Of My Mind' is possibly one of the craziest songs you're ever likely to hear! --- 14: Rita Ora | 'Ora' Chart Run: [1-1-3-3-5-4-6-9] ; (8 Weeks) Top 5: 01. 'How We Do (Party)' 02. 'R.I.P.' (feat. Tinie Tempah) 03. 'Radioactive' 04. 'Been Lying' 05. 'Young, Single, Sexy' Next at #14 is the debut album from brand new, pop sensation, Rita Ora. It's easy to see why she's so successful. Just throw Rihanna and Jessie J into a blender and here is your result. Rita gets a lot of undeserved hate from people on this forum. I can see she won't appeal to everyone, but I don't see what's so wrong for people to call her "the worst pop star in years" etc.. but each to their own I guess. Lol. But anyway, this album reminds me of 'Who You Are', a lot. It varies a lot in it's style, but despite being quite generic for the most part, there's some good hooks in here and I think she has a hell of a lot of potential and is quite simply waiting for her own 'Good Girl Gone Bad'. I feel that's just round the corner. --- 13: Lise Karlsnes | 'Dance or Die' Chart Run: [1-1-3-5-6-4-6-9-7-9-9] ; (11 Weeks) Top 5: 01. 'Red Hot' 02. 'Sailors' 03. 'Heart Bleed' 04. 'Great Escape' 05. 'Dance or Die' At the unlucky number of 13, we have Lise Karlsnes. Lise was first brought to my attention late last year, when she was entered into BJSC by Gooddelta with the electro, dance pop anthem, 'Red Hot'! I remember first seeing the video to RH and thinking it was just Jessie J's aunt or something. The beautiful 'Sailors' was then used in Melodi Grand Prix this year (Norway's national selection for Eurovision), not sure where it finished, but it definitely didn't make the ESC final! Soon after this album was released and, with heavy Robyn influences, this album was glorious from start to finish. Such a strong, polished, electro pop album. Bring on album 2! --- 12: Cheryl | 'A Million Lights' Chart Run: [1-1-3-3-5-6-6-5-5-4-6-8-10] ; (13 Weeks) Top 5: 01. 'A Million Lights' 02. 'Call My Name' 03. 'Screw You' (feat. Wretch 32) 04. 'Ghetto Baby' 05. 'Mechanic Of the Heart' As no stranger to my EOY charts, both solo and as one fifth of Girls Aloud, Cheryl manages to score herself a career best in my EOY Albums chart at #12. '3 Words' is next in line as it finished #15 in 2009, whilst 2nd album, 'Messy Little Raindrops' failed to come anywhere near the top 15 and finished at a lowly position of #35 in 2010! But she's back on form and has delivered her best album yet! Although nothing comes anywhere near as close to touching the epicness of 'Fight For This Love', as an album, AML almost certainly delivers more killer, than filler. Tracks like 'Call My Name', 'Screw You' and 'Sexy Den A Mutha' are almost certainly going to keep the party goers happy. But her softer, more subtle songs like 'A Million Lights' and 'Ghetto Baby' show that she has progressed as an artist and is more than capable of delivering a slow song, just as well as she delivers the uptempo, club tracks. --- 11: fun. | 'Some Nights' Chart Run: [1-1-2-2-2-5-5-3-2-5-4-8-5-7-6-7-9-10] ; (18 Weeks) Top 5: 01. 'We Are Young' (feat. Janelle Monae) 02. 'Some Nights' 03. 'Carry On' 04. 'Out On the Town' 05. 'All Alone' Finishing just outside the top 10 at the rather unfortunate number 11, we have fun.. The indie, pop band of 2012. They are responsible for one of the biggest hits and anthems of 2012, 'We Are Young'. 'Some Nights', the album, is a very solid album that is packed full to the brim with hits, melodies and hooks. They are most certainly ones to watch in the future. I definitely think that if this album is anything to go by, we are going to be hearing a hell of a lot more of fun. and that they are almost certainly going to be around for a little while longer yet!
December 28, 201212 yr Author SINGLES: 20: Taylor Swift | 'I Knew You Were Trouble' ; [26-40-16-6-13-14-18-15-8-8] (10 Weeks) **STILL CHARTING** vNoKguSdy4Y At number 20 is Taylor Swift and with her best, ever song. 'I Knew You Were Trouble' was always a favourite of mine ever since I first heard it back when it was released as a promo single. It's completely unexpected from her and such a HUGE and brave risk for her to go down the 'Hold It Against Me'-pop-step sort of direction, but it has paid off, in a very, very big way for her! Such a brilliant and erratic pop song. So unique for her. I do hope she tampers more with her sound in the same way she did with this. I think she could be even more successful than she already is! EOY Finishes: 2012: 20| 'I Knew You Were Trouble' 2012: 24| 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' 2012: 30| 'Both Of Us' (B.o.B. feat.) --- 19: Cher Lloyd | 'Want U Back' ; [4-5-11-10-14-6-2-5-2-2-2-3-3-4-7-11-18-33-X(2)-22-19-37] (21 Weeks) LPgvNlrBfb0 In at number 19 and following a very successful 2011 in my chart for her, it's Cher Lloyd, with the early album highlight, 'Want U Back'. As annoying as the grunts are, there is no denying that this song is as catchy and as punchy as they come! One of the best, pure pop singles to come from any reality contestant, imo. I can't help but think she'd be a lot more successful, had she released this as her debut, instead of the very love/hate 'Swagger Jagger'. However, I am highly anticipating the follow up album to 'Sticks + Stones' and I believe that if it's more in the vein of this as opposed 'Swagger Jagger', she has a big second era on her hands! EOY Finishes: 2011: 15| 'With Ur Love' (feat. Mike Posner) 2011: 20| 'Swagger Jagger' 2012: 19| 'Want U Back'

December 28, 201212 yr Author SINGLES: 18: The Killers | 'Runaways' ; [3-3-2-5-7-10-13-21-15-10-17-23-33-X(4)-7-10-27-47] (17 Weeks) TMbyWSGYUgc The Killers second highest entry this year, comes in at a respectable #18. 'Runaways' was a bit of a let down when it first premiered, BUT two or three listens later and I was hooked. It's very The Killers and it's easy to see why it was used as a single. I can't help but think it would have been a better 4th or 5th single though. Either way, it's fantastic and was the start of a very, unhealthy obsession with them this year for me. They have one more entry, still to come! EOY Finshes: 2008: 08| 'Human' 2009: 19| 'Spaceman' 2012:???| 'Here With Me' 2012: 18| 'Runaways' 2012: 53| 'Miss Atomic Bomb' --- 17: Rihanna | 'Diamonds' ; [1-2-7-8-13-15-33-17-23-27-35-47] (12 Weeks) **STILL CHARTING** lWA2pjMjpBs At number 17 is the first single, from Rihanna's 7th album 'Unapologetic'. 'Diamonds' is a Sia penned track and Rihanna is sounding better than ever on it! Rihanna is certainly no stranger to my EOY charts as she's featured numerous times, both as a solo credited artist and a featured artist. She's probably the most successful artist in my charts, or at least one of them. It seems whatever she releases, I will lap it up. Well I thought that was the case until some questionable singles choices last era. 'Stay' charting in next years EOY countdown means, that 'Diamonds' is in fact Rihanna's highest entry this year! EOY Finishes: 2008: 06| 'Take A Bow' 2008: 19| 'Live Your Life' (T.I. feat.) 2008: 34| 'Disturbia' 2008: 48| 'Don't Stop the Music' 2009: 06| 'Russian Roulette' 2009: 97| 'Run This Town' (Jay-Z feat. & Kanye) 2010: 17| 'Love The Way You Lie' (Eminem feat.) 2010: 27| 'What's My Name?' December 29, 201212 yr Author SINGLES: 16: Karmin | 'Brokenhearted' ; [32-13-15-24-28-33-40-X(2)-32-36-X(4)-8-6-5-9-9-11-13-16-20-26-37] (20 Weeks) s8cbak34DR0 Here we have the infectious, debut single 'Brokenhearted' by new pop duo, Karmin. 'Brokenhearted' doesn't stray too far away from the sound that the likes of Jessie J and Katy Perry have been doing with Dr Luke/Max Martin et al. Only this time, Karmin seem to have it bang on point and seem to have delivered a STORMING pop single. Not only that, but they HAVE managed to reach my top 10 albums of 2012 with the debut EP, 'Hello'. 'Brokenhearted' entered a few times before finally peaking at number 5 in my chart. The success of this song here in the UK, was most surprising though, as they managed to get as high as number 2 on iTunes! PROPER ALBUM SOON PLEASE. EOY Finshes: 2012: 16| 'Brokenhearted' 2012: 89| 'Hello' --- 15: Michel Teló | 'Ai Se Eu Te Pego' ; [1-1-4-5-6-11-11-13-9-15-23-32-49] (13 Weeks) hcm55lU9knw In at number 15 and the highest placing for a non-English track ever in my EOY charts, we have the insanely catchy and infectious 'Ai Se Eu Te Pego' by Michel! This was a monster hit absolutely EVERYWHERE in Europe. It was (is?) the biggest European hit in a few years, at least. I think it was number 1 in Spain (?) for like 18 weeks or something! But of course, the UK had to put exception to that and have this JUST chart inside the top 75! Not to worry though, it's one of the best songs of 2012, easily. I get the feeling it is still yet to blow up properly over here though, for some reason. Maybe it's just my biasedness not accepting that it flopped so bad in the UK. But I don't know how this isn't bigger, when the atrocious stuff like 'Bom, Bom', 'We No Speak Americano' etc.. are getting to number 1! EOY Finishes: 2012: 15| 'Ai Se Eu Te Pego'
December 29, 201212 yr Author SINGLES: 14: Carly Rae Jepsen | 'Call Me Maybe' ; [17-15-25-22-13-6-4-6-17-25-5-3-6-14-17-21-24-30-39] (19 Weeks) fWNaR-rxAic Up next we have one of the defining hits of 2012. In a few years, when people ask you to say the name of a song that was released in 2012, a lot of them will go for either this, 'Somebody That I Used to Know', 'We Are Young' or 'Gangnam Style'. It's one of the poppiest records you are ever likely to hear and WHAT A POP SONG IT IS. It has everything essential for a big, out and out pop song. The hook, the production, the insanely catchy chorus, the lyrics... what's not to love? It's easy to see why it became the massive WW hit it is, but for some reason it was still a shock that it was quite, that big. We thought pure pop was dead, until this was released. Amazing. EOY Finshes: 2012: 14| 'Call Me Maybe' 2012: 43| 'Good Times' (& Owl City) --- 13: Kelly Clarkson | 'Catch My Breath' ; [3-3-4-4-12-1-5-8-14-17] (10 Weeks) **STILL CHARTING** HEValZuFYRU At number 13 is an artist who is certainly no stranger to my charts. She scores herself ANOTHER top 20 EOY finish, this time with latest single 'Catch My Breath'. It's a mid tempo breeze. It's so lovely to listen to. The production, despite being so subtle, still packs the Kelly C punch that's made her the pop artist she is today. This song was written by her and it is about the high's and low's of her career so far. It was used to launch the 'Greatest Hits: Chapter 1' album. This won't be the last you see of Kelly in my EOY chart this year, she still has one more entry to come. Can she grab herself another top 5 finish? EOY Finishes: 2009: 02| 'Already Gone' 2009: 03| 'My Life Would Suck Without You' 2009: 57| 'I Do Not Hook Up' 2011: 04| 'Mr. Know It All' 2012:???| 'Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)' 2012: 13| 'Catch My Breath' 2012: 57| 'Dark Side'
December 29, 201212 yr Author SINGLES: 12: Rudimental | 'Feel The Love' (feat. John Newman) ; [18-22-23-29-35-24-27-30-31-37] (10 Weeks) oABEGc8Dus0 Much like 'Don't You Worry Child' by Swedish House Mafia, earlier. This is one of those songs I didn't really listen to/get the chance to hear until about 3 or 4 weeks after it was number 1. Had I heard it when it premiered, it most certainly would have been a number 1 (well a number 2, it was around the time LorQueen was still at the top of my chart!). But as soon as I heard it, I fell in love. Such a tune! So good to dance, drunkenly too and it's just a general, warm, feel good, dance track. One of the anthems to my summer. Definitely one of the best, pure dance tracks I've heard in absolutely ages. EOY Finshes: 2012: 12| 'Feel the Love' (feat. John Newman) --- 11: Agnes | 'One Last Time' ; [26-5-2-5-10-10-15-16-20-23-21-23-11-18-26-32-39] (17 Weeks) ycd-ZPgl0T4 This years unlucky song to just miss the EOY chart top 10, is the stunningly, beautiful 'One Last Time' by Scandi-pop Princess, Agnes. The production on this track is sublime and gives me goose pimples every time I hear it. Then you have her haunting voice on top of that! She was responsible for the surprise hit of 2009 with 'Release Me' and I thought this would do a similar thing and become a minor hit at least! But it was always destined to never branch further than Sweden, but this song deserved to. I think it has a very good chance of being a hit, had it been given the right push and momentum. It's the closest mainstream pop will get to the 'Drive' soundtrack (which is stunning, btw!) EOY Finishes: 2009: 78| 'Release Me' 2012: 11| 'One Last Time'
December 30, 201212 yr Author 10: TRAIN | 'CALIFORNIA 37' CHART RUN: [7-4-1-2-3-6-6-6-6-2-5-6-7-6-7-5-9-10] ; (18 Weeks) 0cCZtxHPZAE Album Ranking: 09.0 'This'll Be My Year' 09.0 'Drive By' 06.5 'Feels Good At First' 09.0 'Bruises' (feat. Ashley Monroe) 10.0 '50 Ways to Say Goodbye' 08.5 'You Can Finally Meet My Mom' 07.5 'Sing Together' 07.0 'Mermaid' 08.0 'California 37' 06.0 'We Were Made For This' 07.0 'When The Fog Rolls In' Kick starting the top 10 albums, is the biggest surprise in the albums for me. I love this band, 'Drops Of Jupiter' has always been one of my favourite ever songs and before this era, I (just like everybody else) never imagined them to have another hit, ever again. So when they released 'Drive By' to very limited airplay and a very small fanbase, to see it become the massive hit it went on to become, was astonishing! It's not hard to see why it went on to be a hit though, it's insanely catchy and whether you liked it or not, you would be singing it! Second single '50 Ways to Say Goodbye', although it's essentially 'Drive By' part 2, I found it to be a bit better than the former. Overall, the album isn't going to be winning any awards for it's cringey lyrics or anything of the sort, but it is a surprisingly good album! 'Bruises' and my personal (non single) favourite, 'You Can Finally Meet My Mom' are both beautiful. The latter is probably the cringiest for it's lyrics but this album is full of hooks, melodies and catchy riffs, that if you listen to it once, you'll somehow become addicted to it. There's definitely a certain charm to this band!
December 30, 201212 yr Author 10: PALOMA FAITH | 'PICKING UP THE PIECES' CHART RUN: [2-2-2-3-2-4-6-12-18-23-29-32-36-37-32] ; (15 Weeks) Ijel4Vcqd9g EOY Finishes: 2009: 93| 'New York' 2012: 10| 'Picking Up the Pieces' Now into the singles EOY top 10, Paloma Faith's stunning lead single from the 'Fall to Grace' era, 'Picking Up the Pieces' storms in at number 10! I can seriously not find the words as to how mesmerizing and stunning I find this song. Such a turning point for me with Paloma. I had zero interest in the 'Do You Want the Truth Or Something Beautiful?' era and actually found her to be over hyped and very, very annoying. It's amazing what one song can do! On the back of this, I downloaded her new album and was pleasantly surprised by it. Despite nothing touching the greatness of this particular song, for me though. Not only was it the song what grabbed my attention, but also the hauntingly beautiful video! It's very 'American Horror Story'-esque (which I'm a huge fan of) and I think the story is perfect for the song. I was gutted to see the initial impression for this song was disappointment (lack of interest anyway) from Paloma fans and seemed to very nearly slip under the radar. Amazing that this is her only top 10 single to date (although I'm sure she'll get another one soon enough). I think that's enough hyperbole for one song now, but I seriously can't get enough of this song. Come to think about it, I should have placed it higher, but I'll only think that to the songs above it too
December 30, 201212 yr Feel The Love! It is definitely going to be VERY high up my chart when I do my countdown. :D
December 30, 201212 yr SNAP at Rudimental Jon. Like you it took a while to grow but when turned up loud it's incredible.
December 30, 201212 yr Author 09: MARINA & THE DIAMONDS | 'ELECTRA HEART' CHART RUN: [1-2-1-2-2-3-5-5-8-7-9-8-8-8-8-9] ; (16 Weeks) NeDe89NnC9M Album Ranking: 08.5 'Bubblegum Bitch' 10.0 'Primadonna' 09.0 'Lies' 07.5 'Homewrecker' 07.5 'Starring Role' 09.0 'The State Of Dreaming' 06.0 'Power & Control' 07.0 'Living Dead' 07.0 'Teen Idle' 07.0 'Valley Of the Dolls' 08.0 'Hypocrates' 09.0 'Fear & Loathing' 08.0 'Radioactive' 07.5 'Sex, Yeah' 11.0 'Lonely Hearts Club' 07.0 'Buy The Stars' At number 9, we have the delightful Marina & The Diamonds with her tricky, second album 'Electra Heart'. Considering it's top 10 in my EOY chart, she must have done something right! Her debut 'The Family Jewels', managed to finish at number 4 in my EOY chart for 2010, so the pressure was pretty high for Marina to deliver just as well with this one, as she did with that one. As a fan of Marina, I couldn't be happier tbh. It's typical quirky, Marina with a bit of a twist and updated sound. She seemed to move with the trends, without actually losing her appeal or "selling out". She has some fantastic pop tracks on here; lead single 'Primadonna', 'Lies', 'Bubblegum Bitch' and 'The State of Dreaming' as well as the bonus track 'Lonely Hearts Club', which would be ideal for a UK Eurovision entry! The low points on this album aren't necessarily "bad", but I just don't get the urge to listen to them, but if I was to listen to the album all the way through, I wouldn't necessarily skip them. Anyway, 'Electra Heart' showed progression from Marina, without losing most of the charm of the first album. It was never going to be as good as the debut, second/follow up albums rarely are, but Marina most certainly came close!
December 30, 201212 yr Electra Heart  And Lonely Hearts Club, Primadonna and Lies are definitely in my top 5 on the album too (though Lies is definitely my #1).
December 30, 201212 yr Author 09: NICKI MINAJ | 'STARSHIPS' CHART RUN: [2-2-2-2-2-2-4-5-8-13-19-29-33-35-39-39-39-X(18)-30-39] ; (19 Weeks) SeIJmciN8mo EOY Finishes: 2011: 01| 'Super Bass' 2011: 08| 'Till the World Ends' (Britney Spears feat. & Ke$ha) 2011: 58| 'Where Them Girls At?' Last years victor, Nicki Minaj yet again has her first of TWO top 10 EOY entries, this year at number 9 with the brilliant, pop masterpiece, 'Starships'. It's not quite up to the level of 'Super Bass' for me, but what a flawless dance-pop-hip hop song! It's near perfect considering all the genres which are mashed into one on this. All those weeks at number 2 as well! Such a shame she was up against the behemoth 'Euphoria', any other weeks and it would have been hers! The only thing that let this down, was the HOT MESS of a video! I don't think I'd seen a more awkward popstar in a video (that was until I saw Owl City in the 'Good Times' video!). This year has been massive for Nicki. She seemed to suddenly explode this year after a pretty successful 2011 anyway, but this year was completely different for her. As I said earlier, she has one more entry with 'Pound The Alarm' still to come. Can she get the number 1 EOY single again?
December 30, 201212 yr Author Electra Heart  And Lonely Hearts Club, Primadonna and Lies are definitely in my top 5 on the album too (though Lies is definitely my #1).Yay at more LHC love  It reminds me of 'Are You Satisfied?' for me. Probably because that was such a massive, pop anthem from her debut and LHC is the closest thing to it for me. Perfect
