Saw them on Daybreak today announcing their tour for next year. Jay and Tom have quite patently been on the crack.

They probably knew it was better to have "shit" all on one album :kink: I don't think this album will have much going for it apart from the singles (and even 'We Own the Night' is a bit trashy).

The album has leaked! Listening now, and SADLY I was reminded of how horrendously shit 'I Found You' is - definitely the lowest point of their career. Absolutely dreadful. With the amount of material on this album they'd have been better leaving it off. 'Show Me Love (America)' is slowly becoming one of my favourites by them, though. :wub:

Hmm... the album's quite decent at first, just like when I heard the last two albums the first time so I expect to like it more.

 

'Glow In The Dark' was the highlight (when talking about album tracks) I think. What a tune.

I love Show Me Love ('MURICA!) It's my favorite single from this era.

 

I want to see them in concert SO bad - They're actually coming to Canada in April I believe to Vancouver. I looked about a month ago into Tickets - not that expensive but it looks like they were selling quite quickly.. and I wasn't that invested in booking a concert 6 months away so I'm going to hold off on tickets and see if I can get something closer to the date.

 

Sadly, I wish they were going to Vegas - it's actually cheaper for me to fly down there and stay for a couple nights than it is to fly/stay in my own damn country and see them.

The album entered at number 9 last week with opening sales of just under 15000. Show Me Love entered the chart at number 8 but has dropped considerably this week....shame as both are not bad.

I can't see the album selling more than 100k to be honest. It will drop like a stone. I seriously think this could be their last album with a best of coming out next.

The end is near for the Wanted, i would also a believe a greatest hits is next and that will be the end. I cant see the current album even selling 100,000.

If you can't even shift 100k albums with 5 singles then what hope have you got? I think 50-60k max is more realistic!

It is a great album and they are a great band, this doesn't have to be the end!

Sadly, this doesn't surprise me.

It's deserved. They went from being spot on and brilliant to releasing utter dirge and scrapping an entire album of high profile collaborations for what they did out out. It's just bizarre.

The whole "we need to crack America" ruined them. They were doing just fine in the UK before they wanted to crack the US.
