December 23, 201213 yr Author McFly's drop would have been far more graceful if they hadn't released the 'Dougie Style' version which probably aided its top 40 re-entry last week quite significantly.
December 23, 201213 yr Author Singles new entries this week are very debut-heavy - of the 13 acts with new entries only 5 (Alex Day, Dot Rotten, Alistair Griffin, Frank Ocean and Ben Howard) have had top 100 hits before and Frank Ocean has never had a top 100 as lead artist before.
December 24, 201213 yr Interesting to see how quick Michael Buble will fall now, although he will probably pick up some decent sales today and tomorrow to keep him relatively high for the coming week.
December 24, 201213 yr Ooft. The Killers climbing a place in the albums chart *.* Also, great to see Kelly drop only 2 places! over 35k (this week) for her :D

December 24, 201213 yr New peaks: #85 Jake Bugg - Lightning Bolt [from #88; see above] Dropping out (* = for the first time since entering): #86 David Guetta feat. Sia - Titanium Didn't realise Lightning Bolt never reached the Top 75! Hopefully this time. This is, however, the first time Titanium has fallen out of the Top 100 this year, right?
December 24, 201213 yr Author This is, however, the first time Titanium has fallen out of the Top 100 this year, right? Nope, that happened 3 weeks ago - last week it re-entered due to the X Factor group performance but it's dropped straight back out.
December 24, 201213 yr Nope, that happened 3 weeks ago - last week it re-entered due to the X Factor group performance but it's dropped straight back out. Okay, thanks. I'm just lost without ChartStats! :drama:
December 24, 201213 yr Well deserved TJC. Hoping one pound fish man climbs a bit...it is hilarous! "Different" is a great song, and give it time it will make the top 40. Glad "Something New" held on a bit...surprised "Clown" fell out the top 40. Shame for Eddie Stobart..Thought it would hold on to a Top 40 place.
December 25, 201213 yr A couple of chart "nuggets" this week The following artists have reached milestones in terms of number of weeks on the Top 75 250 wks Calvin Harris (251) 150 wks Emeli Sande (151) 100 wks Ellie Goulding Cue Bre telling me I've missed out a featured artist credit somewhere, it's quite possible! "Fairytale of New York" spends it's 5th week at Number 12 this week (split across all it's different chart runs). My data on this isn't yet complete but I haven't found a record with more weeks at Number 12 - just one to equal it, a version of "This Ole House" by Billie Anthony way back in 1954. Well that's just an invitation :kink: I do get the same totals as you for all three though.
