December 26, 201212 yr XLII Next we're off to our second contest of the year, hosted by one of the most hyped new countries of 2011, and having seen this year's results it's only fair, we are of course talking about Fljótavík! So who will see the light of day again from this contest? Our qualifiers are... Greenfroze // Xelle - Invincible XLIX We're so near to the end here that we can almost taste it! In XLVIII Aeroche became the first country to win three contests on the trot, but they courteously gave hosting duties over to runners up Batidas. So who has whipped up a frenzy, and who's hit the bottom? Step forward... AND STICKING AROUND A LITTLE LONGER... Greenfroze // Orange Caramel - Lipstick YAY! I was VERY surprised to see Xelle through! Didn't think they would, so that was great! :wub: And you almost gave me a heart attack there, Tom, by putting Orange Caramel at the bottom of the list of qualifiers. Lipstick is one of my favourite entries this year and I'm thrilled they're through! :w00t: I'm a bit gutted about Manicanparty, but that was one of the biggest contests, so it had a lot of competition. Mutine is also a shame to see DNQ yet again :( But I have two entries in this years Rejects and I'm quite happy with that. I don't think I got any last year! Although there were some unjust and sad DNQ'ers, like Casa Murilo/Wrecking ball, Asaf Avidan/Different pulses, Blitzkids mvt./Blinded and Escort/Makeover :( ... most of my nominations did qualify too, I think. So I'm VERY pleased with that as well. Should be challenging to vote in the semi finals!

I never expected Pallbearer to be one point off qualifying and I feel quite guilty now (although it might still have lost the tie).

I thought Asaf Avidan would have made it to TBO - Rejects at least (perhaps mainly due to the succes of the 'Reckoning Song', but even that didn't save him). But yeah, really happy to have at least one in TBO, better than to have it the other way around :P
