I can remember Come Around Sundown too! Can't forget it's Top 10-not Top 10-Top 10-not Top 10 chart run! :P

I found Come Around Sunshine to be a remarkably good follow-up to OBTN at the time, but it hasn't aged as well i don't think (apart from Radioactive, which still sounds amazing). Same with Science and Faith i guess (where Nothing remains the only stand-out track for me ).

Tinie's success is incredible, especially as i always saw him as a 'singles' artist. He was inescapable at the time of its release though.

I love Come Around Sundown. Some great tracks on there. Shame it hasn't made the million but there really was literally no hype for it at the time considering the success of OBTN.

People seem to have finally had enough of that Paolo Nutini album, both it and “Lungs” were in the top 10 for 2010 and have consecutively fallen in every year since. Better news for Lady Gaga who sticks at No 18 for the decade despite no new singles in 2012, and even better news for Olly Murs and Rihanna who both place their third albums on this list in the top 30 with nice climbs though both just miss out on the million mark.

5 v. good albums there!

Glad to see Born This Way staying steady :cheer: Hopefully it can stay there again with the release of ARTPOP this year!

I approve of the way Gezza has refused to use the actual (and still hideous) Born This Way cover.

In the final bunch to just miss the decade top 10, Plan B and Mumford & Sons are the first casualties from last year’s top 10 as, though a poor year for sales, 2012 proves a little too strong for them. Katy Perry comes close to breaking the top 10 but now recedes back to No 15. Good rises for Jessie J to 14 and Coldplay to No 11, Coldplay were in the top 10 for most of the year until pushed out in the final week!

How on earth did KOL sell over 850k of an album almost without anyone noticing?

In the same way that I managed to listen to most of the album without noticing, it's dull as. Still, sold quite well for what is effectively a country rock record and "Pyro" should have been massive.

That would have been a brilliant cover, don't think I've seen that before.

I could have sworn that Teenage Dream had been hovering around 800k since the dawn of time, but then again the singles off it probably sold more cumulatively than any other album here.

Coldplay, Plan B and Mumford & Sons all just missing out on the top 10 :drama: 3 great albums.

I can't quite see you liking the Mumford & Sons album, just seems so far removed from you normal likes/dislikes!
