It must be a bit embarrassing for Skylar Grey to have had to put 'Love the Way You Lie (Part III)' (which I just noticed outside the top 100) on her album in the hopes of selling it.

I don't really understand why that would be embarrassing lol. Plus, the song was released separately quite a while ago, I remember seeing it high on iTunes last year a couple of times.

Because I see no reason why anyone should want a song from years ago, belonging to someone else, on their album. It stinks of "my singles flopped so let's hope this claim to fame can save me".

It's her version of song she wrote that a lot of people like, why wouldn't she put it on her album? You're being a bit harsh imo. I'm sure there's other cases of songs from years ago being put on albums. She's great imo, she deserves all the success she's had and even more!

I'm not being harsh, it's more sympathetic than critical. I just find it hard to believe she'd want the song on the album and to me it stinks of her being forced to put it on by her label. IMO for any artist that sort of thing would feel a tad embarrassing, so I feel for her more than anything else. I suppose it is possible she just wanted the song on it for some reason, I just don't personally think that's the most likely reason for it being there :P

Her album is wonderful. Really loving it a lot. It's not on the version of the album I downloaded though! :o
