I'm glad 50 Cent is winning over Justin, his song is actually rather good Justin's is so boring.
S&S is #1 now :D

1 Brit.I.Am 1.1029

2 50 Cent 1.0170

3 Justin 1.0000

Big lead now, but not sure if its enough to grab the #1, even though 'S&S' has been ahead of 'My Life' most of the week. I assume the latter has an EP?

AFAIK 50 Cent only has a 2 track single. If he does have an EP then it's not top 1500 on iTunes, anyway.

But if people are downloading the digital bundle (maybe its not called an EP :P ) that would have put them ahead?
I'm quite sure that he doesn't have EP.. still really strange that he had such a lead on first mids..

Maybe he had a lot of pre orders that are still backing him up?

If I were to pick one song for #1 this week it would be 'Scream & Shout', I think. I know 50 Cent was initially ahead but for the majority of the week (until that brief period today), S&S has been ahead (and it is of course now building a comfortable lead). It's probably going to only extend that lead tomorrow (one of the busiest days for sales in the week), too. I find it hard to see My Life beating S&S, it all really depends on how big a lead Justin has managed to build.

But of course it's so tight that I could be massively wrong.

Literally every week has been exciting this year, with it being hard to predict the #1. Hope it continues throughout the year with more OA/OS releases. I'm guessing Beyonce will drop something soon (she'll have to before the Superbowl of course).

Animal  #26

Scream & Shout will get the #1 this week. A 4k gap can surely be closed over two days, especially when will.i.am is bound to have a massive weekend effect?

Let's hope that you're massively wrong

I think that when you purchase the 2 tracks for £1.49 it is similar to buying an EP and that is probably what made 50 Cent & Eminem to be #1. That must be also how the clean version is still selling, he's gonna have to get the #1 similar to how Sak Noel got it with Loca People. My Life will probably end up at #2 on the official download chart but as long as it's #1 on the overall official chart then i will be pleased with the outcome.
