It' amazing isn't it? :o Also, Samantha Barks is reclimbing with 'On My Own' too! It's probably down to the fact it's Orange Wednesdays at Cinemas today (2-4-1) so that's probably helping it so much. I just received a phone call from work asking if I could start early as it's been so busy apparently!

I hope so. If he performs the way he did at the VMAs, he'd be a shoe-in for a boost in the charts. It'd be absolutely show-stopping if he performed 'Bad Religion'.

I would love Frank Ocean to perform at the BRITs, but I'm not sure if he's mainstream enough. He's one of those artists like Skrillex or Jessie Ware or Drake that everybody knows but is hardly ever in the charts.

Since this morning it does not look like combined anyone has caught up on JT too much. The last hour its changed a bit but the same happened this time yesterday. Maybe all the kids are home from school buying S&S and MY LIFE because they are cool

I'm not 100% sure, but sales are low, the song is very well-known, it's got an amazing music video and it's getting a lot of Radio 1 support, so I think it could get #1.

I'll be pleasantly surprised if Frank Ocean does win the award, let alone perform. I imagine the award'll go to whoever they can rope in to perform, which is more likely to be Bruno Mars; who's always happy to perform in the UK. A forum can dream though - Frank deserves far more success than he's gotten.

 

So many seemingly "flops" doing well at the moment. Both Ne-Yo and Flo Rida in the T30 with their latest cuts is a big surprise; in particular Ne-Yo. I imagine both'll do similar to The Script's 'Six Degrees of Seperation' and Ellie Goulding's 'Figure 8' - peak and then swiftly depart the T100.

 

Re: Bingo Players - if it does reach #1, I'll be gobsmacked. Yes, it's had support, but it's also a good 6 months old (well the Far East Movement-less version is). I imagine a lot of potential buyers will already own the track, either through downloading the original a few months back, or through illegal downloading. I'm all for Justin Timberlake holding #1 (if it makes it to the summit this week), or will.i.am returning to #1.

Back then people on here were in a very whiny mood about what happened to Moves Like Jagger, and EVERY SINGLE WEEK people would assume that a UK song would got to #1 for one week and all the big worldwide hits would be left charting at #2 (people said this would happen to Somebody That I Used to Know, We Are Young and Titanium). So people were being a bitter, pessimistic and deluded at the time lol, just because it happened to one song they suddenly started convincing themselves it would happen for everything. :rolleyes:

 

Also Rockstar sounds the same as No Regrets, which did get to #1, so I can understand why people thought it would. But N-Dubz have never really been that big in the charts. No Regrets (and Young and Number 1) are one-offs really. Usually their songs chart in the #11-#20 region.

 

I don't think Bingo Players are guaranteed for #1, but I think it's likely. will.i.am could climb back again.
