Amelia Lily performed her new single on Celebrity Big Brother's Bit On The Side tonight. I think that she cant and wont get any higher than #5, the top 3 songs of this midweek and Bingo Players (if the hype on here actually proves to be true) will all chart higher than her i think.

T.A.T.U. around 10 years exactly it was no.1 as well. I feel old. Can't believe its that old already.

I know, i was in my first year of secondary school when that came out and i remember that there was a lot of fuss in the media about them being lesbians and whether it was real or not.

a WWE wrestler called Victoria used it as her entrance music as well.

Time flies.......

I get the feeling 'Get Up (Rattle)' will "do a 'Riverside'". I'd be more than happy for it to go all the way though! I think Amelia will probs go top 5, providing she releases straight at 59p. Otherwise top 15 at best. The hype for this has been and gone unfortunately. It's a better song than 'You Bring Me Joy', which is a shame :(

Morning update: http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s...t&p=4196476

59p songs in the top 100:

 8 Emeli Sandé - Clown

 12 David Guetta feat Taped Rai - Just One Last Time

 13 Ke$ha - Die Young

 18 Lawson - Learn To Love Again

 46 Jake Bugg - Two Fingers

 52 Blackstreet & Dr. Dre - No Diggity

 62 Coldplay - Paradise

 69 Eminem - Lose Yourself

:ne: 79 Alex Clare - Too Close

 80 Train - Drops Of Jupiter

:re: 82 Kings Of Leon - Use Somebody

:re: 90 Kings Of Leon - Sex On Fire

:re: 96 Taylor Swift - Love Story

:ne: 97 MGMT - Kids

:ne: 100 Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit

Amelia's pre-order back in the top 1500, at #921. There's also a fake version at #1293, however Bingo Players have fakes at #131 and #981.

Yay for Dizzee moving up closer to the top 20. Such a refreshing tune, and good to see him back to his signature sound.

Hopefully this can smash somehow.

Is this new Dizzee Rascal song a held-back release?

Pretty sure it's OA/OS*. This, along with David Bowie and Justin make a very convincing case to try OA/OS again.

*Not that I listen to any stations that would play it.

Amelia is obviously heading for a flop. I have the impression it's been out there for bloody ages and it's killing any hype there could be around this song.
A bit o/t but I'm listening to the Rated R album for the first time in two years and I'm thinking it really should've done better than it did - peaking at #9 and the singles, bar 'Rude Boy' and sort of 'Russian Roulette', underperforming. It's still a crime that 'Photographs' was never released as a single - it would've done far better than 'Hard' (which is FINALLY growing on me). 'Te Amo' is still my RR fave. ^_^

I love Photographs as well. I love listening to that song in the summer, on a nice sunny day, it's so exotic and chilled sounding.

I love Hard as well, I don't think it would've done so bad if its release wasn't so messed up.

'Fire Bomb' is the one that REALLY should have been a single. That album is truly her opus, it makes me sad that she spat out what she did for her past two albums. :(

Back? I'm a little confused - to me it sounds very little different to anything else he's done?

It's a song from his new mixtape (think it is OA/OS as I don't remember hearing about it before its release).

The problem is radio still takes up to a month to start playing OA/OS releases properly so they arent stable releases hence Bowie down to no68 on itunes and JT not convincing at the top but getting there because sales are quite low at the top of the chart but good overall!!

Well, the song is called Bassline Junkie, it's in the title! Most of his chart hits the past few years have been dance-pop songs (like Calvin Harris, etc.), whilst this new song goes back to the UK garage/grime sound. It's 140 bpm, it's been ages since he's had a chart hit at that tempo I think.

In the US where everything is on air, on sale, record labels often do deals where they pay radio stations to play the song on its release week (e.g. once an hour for the first day). Which helps newly released songs get decent airplay fast, but it's illegal to do this in the UK.

50 Cent & Eminem + Adam Levine are #1 combined now at last with 100.6%. The explicit version alone is at 90.62% and will surely be #1 either today or tomorrow. If only In Da Club did this when it was released in the U.K

Victoria  I miss her so fucking much! (Ain't nobody got time for TNA... :puke:). The Widow's Peak is my favourite finisher, EVER <3

It's sold 700k+ though, hasn't it? Which is more than her #1 album(s) 'Unapologetic' (and possibly 'Talk That Talk', not too sure on that one). Despite them two have FAR bigger hits taken from them. 'Te Amo' is so dull. Don't get the love for that, at all. It might be because I've had the demo since mid-2008 I think.

'Rude Boy' is decent-ish, but I find it ultimately overrated. 'Hard' is so good! She needs to do more songs like this and 'Wait Your Turn'. 'Russian Roulette' is one of her finest singles. Such a brave and interesting move in releasing that song over the likes of 'Hard' and 'Rude Boy', as the lead single.

But this I COMPLETELY agree with. 'Fire Bomb' will be the best thing she's ever done for me! Such a stunning song and I think I read somewhere that she's a bit sad that it was never chosen as a single. Then of course we have, 'The Last Song'. Epically stunning. 'Rated R' is such a beautifully crafted album and it's the most "real" we're ever going to get from RiRi, I think (even if I do (by a long way) prefer 'Loud').

Anyway, that's for another topic! :P Any idea on where Ke$ha is with 'C'mon'? PLEASE be a big hit :(

Ugh Photographs :puke: Worst song she's ever done imo, idk why but I can't stand it.

Oh yes, and this, too! Not only her worst song, but will.i.am's second worst solo outing (just ahead of 'T.H.E.').

Currently #146 (but nearing the top 20 in the US). Really hope it can be fairly big, as i much prefer it to Die Young.

And for the record Rehab is Rihanna's best ever song imo (and video - but mainly because of JT :P).
