An encouraging start. She seemed to have some idea what she was talking about which made a nice change. It was good to hear her saying how pleased she was to be able to play some Bowie in her first chart show. Reggie Yates would just have said "ask your Mum".

I found her dull and boring. There is too much talking on charts show these days.
I found it rather enjoyable, I did have a few doubts wondering if she was going to be a female Reggie (i.e pointless larking around, any excuse to take the focus away from the chart and talk about irrelevant topics i.e The Voice, etc...) but her links were pretty short and to the point, granted she seemed a little nervous, but I'm sure within the next few weeks she'll ease into the show. Obviously this is all new to her and just like us, she's only human. So on the whole I voted Very Good. :D
Hopefully next week she won't have anything like those pointless "Brit" nomination chats to plug over and over again.
Id say reggie warned her of tweets from the usual buzzjack chart geeks during the show lol!!

As survey designs go, having three positive outcomes and two negative is pretty poor and won't give you a valid result. (One option is neutral. That's okay.) This is how you design bias into a survey if you want to produce a more positive outcome.

It would be better to start again and either add 'bad' to counterbalance the 'good' option, or remove one of the positive options.

I put 'very good', although compared to reggie she's an artist at it. he was insufferable and I always found myself cringing whenever he made jokes. jameela is lovely, on the inside as well as the outside.
I found her far less *irritating* than Reggie, but I thought her presenting style was piss poor. She could only be bothered to speak roughly every three songs and said nothing of any interest. I'm still baffled by the lack of background beds inbetween songs. It's just one song followed by another song and it sounds so amateurish. And they couldn't even be bothered to time it properly so that they were ready for the top 10 at 6 o'clock. What happened to the "they've changed the format to suit my personality"? There was no format. I liked how they cut down the re-cap of the number 3 and number 2 and I wouldn't have minded them cutting some of the long-running songs down (but still playing all 40) if it made a more interesting show.

On the other hand she had an unnecessary dig at Bon Jovi because they started "before she was born" and that they might need to take their zimmerframes with them on tour.

After the interview she did saying that she didn't want to diss any of the artists because it was unprofessional, I was disappointed with that.

That sounds like the perfect iteration of the show for me to be honest. I don't want presenters speaking more often than necessary, and background beds between songs seem completely pointless.
