Yeah, it's climbing extremely fast. I said a few weeks ago I think when it gets Radio 1 support it'll shoot into the top 10. I think it might be at #1 by the time it gets to A-List.

 

God I hope not - putting up with that for months would drive me insane! :drama:

 

One particular mid-00's song that Thrift Shop is VERY similar to imo is Get Right by Jennifer Lopez.

How would people say Amelia Lily is doing? I'd say she was slightly under performing as it's going to be a low sales week and she's had a lot of promotion.

Can't you hear that the brass instrument is almost identical in them? I deliberately just posted the instrumental to Get Right since I know the vocals are not similar, but the beat definitely is. Another song I think the beat sounds similar to (but not as much) is Just a Lil Bit by 50 Cent.

'Bom Bom' wasn't that long ago (and you could count 'Gangnam Style' as although it isn't actually a novelty SONG per se, it was very much a novelty hit, like in the way people interpreted it).
