January 23, 201313 yr How the hell is Conor #4?! And what are the chances of him staying Top 5 come Sunday? Surprised to see him so high too especially as the CD single and CD single/MP3 bundle are not released until the 31st
January 23, 201313 yr Wow @ Conor Maynard #4 - I wasn't expecting him to be this high but it's great to see him getting another post-album single into the top 10, clearly he's saved his best singles for after the album! Bingo Players have the #1 this weekend no questions asked, great to see that!
January 23, 201313 yr Really hope that Conor can now start clocking up some decent album sales - His album has only sold 69,000 despite having 3 [soon to be 4] Top 10 singles - 2 of which have been decent sellers
January 23, 201313 yr I'm not surprised at Conor Maynard being at #4. He's at #6 and #83 on iTunes, and that version was a lot higher a couple of days ago. Pleased at Amelia being at #9. Hope she can hold on until Sunday. Edited January 23, 201313 yr by OutstandingMike
January 23, 201313 yr Well done Madness. This is an excellent album that disappeared too quickly after release. Nice to have a small revival.
January 23, 201313 yr What has caused such a huge increase for Madness, is it selling cheap? I too would be happy to see Amelia Lily hold onto her position, Lawson's album really is benefiting from their latest single. On the whole both charts border on boring this week.
January 23, 201313 yr What has caused such a huge increase for Madness, is it selling cheap? Johnathan Ross.
January 23, 201313 yr I knew that Conor Maynard was going to be at #4 today. It was obvious seeing as he was/is #5 combined on iTunes and then if you add the EP sales which entered at #5 on the album chart then that was the only outcome possible. I think he will stay there until Sunday or maybe even go up to #3. The surprise is Amelia Lily at #9. How the f**k is she there when she isn't top 10 on iTunes and doesn't have any EP or CD.

January 23, 201313 yr My 100,000 post :o anyhow But the counter says 100,013... :P And... Adam Ant in the album top 10?!
January 23, 201313 yr You have to love the fact that there are two songs in a row with the same name!
January 23, 201313 yr If Amelia can actually cling on to #10 by Sunday I will be SO pleased. Conor has done so well with this, I certainly didn't forsee it making the top 10 although I expect he will land at #6 on Sunday.
January 24, 201313 yr They might mean on iTunes? They were top 5 there for a while, now down to #8 though (and Ludovico Einaudi has overtaken them to have the highest new entry). Adam Ant #8 on the OCC website - either that was false info yesterday or this album is EXTREMELY frontloaded. Highest new entry to be I Am Kloot then. Nice to see The Joy Formidable as high as #16, but surprising that Ludovico is only #18 since he's top 5 on iTunes and he doesn't really strike me as the kind that'd slay on downloads but flop on physicals  I think sales at the top end of the charts are low hence the big movements - With HMV not stocking this weeks new releases and I'm not sure that the likes of Tesco, Asda etc, will be stocking them all will have harmed sales.
January 24, 201313 yr I hope Adam Ant falls out of the top 10. I am a fan of his, but many of the songs on his album sound demo-quality at best. Poor effort.
