Surprised (pleased obviously) that The Killers are still top 75 despite not having anything on radio since 'Miss Atomic Bomb' was released mid-Nov (?)! I think it'll be worth getting 'The Way It Was' or 'Battle Born' added to radio 1's playlists to get the album selling in time for their Wembley gig for June.

Also, great to see Kelly Clarkson back above McFly and Girls Aloud, especially considering Kelly's still done f*** all promo! :drama:

I thought Here With Me was the official 3rd single from The Killers?? I have heard in on a few stations, but don't think it was added to Radio 1's playlist. I do agree about Battle Born being the next single though, it won't do anything chart wise, but will be good to hear it on the radio.

I'd say being on the X Factor final and Loose Women counts as some sort of promo, not sure what else she could have done. Admittedly, it would be good if she came back to try and get a hit single off the album.

Yeah Here With Me was the official third single, and I'm still completely baffled as to why Radio 1 ignored it!

Yes it was, but I was under the impression the main stations (Radio 1, Radio 2, Capital, Heart etc..) all completely skimmed over it! Was such a mistake releasing it so close to 'Miss Atomic Bomb' though... they should come back and promote 'Here With Me' on Graham Norton or something. It's too good to be completely ignored! But seeing as that ship has long since been sailed, they should throw another single out there. ('Battle Born' would be lovely and the best choice for personal reasons for me.)

Ha! I actually completely forgot about them. But yeah, performing years old singles, when she had a new single which she didn't promote at all, was a bit of a silly decision, in the end. Especially by not performing it on the biggest promotional spot she had at the time! She could have made a hit out of 'Catch My Breath' and the GH probably could have done better as people would realise they'd have 1 or two new tracks to purchase as well as her greatest hits :(

Same. Not even 1 week on the C-List, which would have sufficed.

No I wouldn't have been happy with anything less than A-list for such a brilliant song! I think you're right though, it was too close to Miss Atomic Bomb. Either Battle Born or Flesh & Bone would make for a decent next single.

Hard to imagine Where Are We Now? being number one on iTunes a couple of weeks back! Shame that Figure 8 has fallen out. :( I just hope it will be reduced to 59p again some time this year to hopefully extend it's chart run a little.
