Why won't 'How To Save A Life' just DIE? :arrr:

It was awful then and it's awful now, that man's accent is horrific.

Agreed 100% - and people say 'Clown' by Emeli Sandé is coma inducing.

(Even though she isn't technically a US artist) US artists (and their labels) need to stop with all this 'too urban for a UK release' non-sense. With the right radio support and a good enough video and promotion I don't see why Pour It Up wouldn't go at least top 20 and possibly top 10. It's this mindset why some awful pop-dance music is getting released instead of certain epicly good unreleased tracks.

And Love Without Tragedy for a UK release? No thank you. I'd rather it remain being one of the better (best) album tracks on the album ala Fire Bomb. I'm just waiting for Jump to be released in the Summer!

I'm not saying I agree with this mindset - Phresh Out The Runway and Jump are two of my favourites from Unapologetic - but I'm just being realistic. Right Now and Nobody's Business are almost certain for release because they're the most mainstream, not because they're the best songs. And re: LWT, that's just wishful thinking on my behalf. An extended version would be brilliant.

Right Now and Nobodies Business are the 2 obvious single choices from Unapologetic, the rest is fillers.....

How to Save A Life is FAB. I don't understand the HATE.

You're all just JEALOUS. There I said it.

HTSAL hate will not be tolerated

 4. Get Up (Rattle) [feat. Far East Movement] [Radio Edit] - Bingo Players

 5. Clown - Emeli Sandé

Big relief that the boost for Emeli was a very brief one. Hopefully she'll still miss the top 5.

 61. Indian Summer - Stereophonics

New peak this week then? Like Bon Jovi and Bring Me The Horizon a couple of weeks ago, odd to see this back in the top 100 again after coming and going the first time, has it been performed somewhere?

 64. When I Was Your Man - Bruno Mars

Climbing extremely quickly. Almost reminiscent of 'The Lazy Song'. Top 5 by the end of the month?

 79. Worry About You - Tyler James

I understand this has a single version coming out soon featuring Kano - that could easily turn this into a top 40 hit if the album version is top 80! Not heard this yet but glad to see him still having some success, would like to see his album make a reappearance but there's not really much hope is there.

HTSAL is one of the dreariest songs of all time... couldn't stand it on first release and loathe it now

On a more positive note lovin' the new FOB song; glad to see its still riding high

This album in my opinion has not one true standout song on it, but I'd say the majority of the album tracks are better than the ones on Talk That Talk...

God damn it! Hope it can get top 200 officially, though :P

Just seen the video for 'Just Give Me A Reason' by P!nk and it's lovely. This song NEEDS to be a hit. (Currently #469)

16. Ellie Goulding - Explosions

25. The Fray - How To Save A Life

33. Nickleback - How You Remind Me (Would be great if this went top 40 also)

37. My Chemical Romance - Surrender The Night

38. Eminem & Rihanna - Love The Way You Lie

40. Maroon 5 - She Will Be Loved

52. Amelia Lily - Shut Up (Give Me Whatever You Got)

55. £1 Fish Man - One Pound Fish

90. Marina & The Diamonds - How To Be Heartbreaker (I wonder if this will still make the top 100? I'm assuming tomorrow it will be around #150)

100. Zack Ryder - Hoeski

120. Emeli Sande - Clown (Urgh, I guess she will go top 5 with this)

133. Ke$ha - C'mon (Been reduced to 59p)

Hope Ke$ha can receive a nice boost now that she's 59p. 'C'mon' deserves to be huge. It's my favourite single from her! :(

what is the reason for How You Remind Me doing so well?

is it because it is 59p or is it to do with Avril's cover?

would be great if it gets top 40! I'm a big Nickelback fan and love the song!

I can see Right Now not getting released tbh. I mean, this is Rihanna we're talking about. If it was Ke$ha or Lady Gaga or Katy Perry with this album, it would've been the lead single, but with Rihanna I can't be sure.

I think Loveeeeeee Song is actually the obvious single choice, it's almost top 100 on US iTunes, and top 50 on the rhythmic airplay chart. They can't NOT release it now. None of the other pop stars really ever have an album track doing thisl. It's doing so well, her label can't ignore that.

I think Nobodies Business and also Jump are likely. But if Rihanna will release another album next November, I think she'll only be able to fit 5 singles max from this album. Hopefully she lets this one go on for 18 months, cos I definitely think she has enough potential singles on the album to last that long. I love What Now, Numb and Phresh Out the Runway too.

It's a bloody dirge - hearing it is more likely to drive people to kill themselves, rather than save someone else... :P
